Topic reopened. In case you weren't aware, the Miscellaneous Guidelines were updated, and the new addenum discourages meme spam (among other things)
Don't spam Make sure that your posts are making a useful contribution to the discussion. Don't clutter things up with extra images, smilies, spaces or words like "inb4close" that don't contribute to the discussion. If you do not find a thread interesting - don't post in it. New topics that you create should be focused on a single subject and invite an interesting discussion.
Make sure your comment provides more to the discussion at hand.

But there's nothing to talk about. It's not like we can say "Well I'll let you use her characters".

If no one has something to contribute, just don't post. A thread usually goes away on it's own if no one can figure out something to say.
And besides, don't think it's impossible that someone can't think of a good comment to add to the discussion.
For example, one way to jump-start the thread could be creating plot bunnies for Davidsonofinga to follow-up on (of course that will require the thread to be moved to Project Ideas, but that will depend on which direction of the thread the OP wishes to follow as the discussion goes along).
Whatever the future comments on this thread will be, it should just be relevant and not spammy.

Plot bunnies?
Edit: Sorry about the spam thing. I'm easily distracted, which probably explains all the notifications from the Scratch Team I've been getting lately.

Plot bunnies are [incomplete] storyline ideas, they're usually intended to be completed later by the original thinker, but some people offer plot bunnies to others to be completed.

Collaboration, Requests, or Project Ideas might be a good place to get one. You could make a thread in Requests saying you'll animate someone's story idea, or you could make a thread in Collaboration, asking of anyone wants to be part of an animation design team (with you being the programmer and the other being the storywriter), or you could make a thread in Project Ideas asking for ideas on a story and characters to focus on. Take your pick.
