Once I was in a dream, and I was basicly awake in my dream! I sort of knew I was dreaming in my dream, and tried to wake myself up in my dream (but failed)! Ever happen to you?

Yep, that happens to me sometimes. I keep yelling "WAKE UP, WAKE UP ALREADY" in them.

No. I always forget I am dreaming when I am dreaming.
But sometimes I feel like I know something from before, but I really don't.
And I just got logged out. O_O

You do realize that dreams are your brain's way of processing all that happens in the day. That's why you need to get your sleep. It's like a computer taking all new files and filing them away. So if you have a dream where you try to wake yourself up, you probably came across something that suggested waking yourself up in a dream. Eg: you recently watched a show where the main character had a dream and was trying to wake himself up. You don't really have control over your dreams. That's why they're so freaky. If you wanted to have a dream, wouldn't you make it realistic, or at least not so wacked out? (like Majora's Mask, I think LoZ MM is the most freaky game out there. I actually thing Termina never existed. The sheer freakiness of the thing suggests that Link fell down a hole, bumped his head, became unconscious and had a dream. Also, as Link falls down the hole, pictures of memories such as gorons and the ocarina appear, meaning that at that point, his brain might have been remembering and filing away memories of the previous adventure in Ocarina of Time. But that's getting off topic) You can't help what your brain categorizes first, it's just an involuntary function. So you really have no control of what happens, it's just memories surging through your brain that you visualize in your sleep.

Once I was listening to an audiobook, where all the characters have different voices, then I had a nightmare about probably the scariest part of it and I actually heard the antagonist's voice talking to me.

Don't try to make yourself wake up! In those types of dreams, you can control almost everything that happens! (Well, when I have those, I can.)

Yes, a few last year and one last night(What a coincidence!). I couldn't manipulate them though... Once, I knew I was dreaming because something happened that never happened even though in the dream I thought it already did...(Then I successfully woke myself up!)

I had, I think, a false awakening several months ago. I woke up in bed and realized I didn't have one of my retainers in. I didn't open my eyes, but felt around the bed and eventually found it near the foot of my bed. Then I just put it back in and went back to sleep.
Anyone else had this happen?
Here's the Wikipedia article.
