3D modellers, animators

Im trying to decide what program I should get for animating 3D junk. And making it for a matter of fact. Anyways, I am trying out autodesk 3DS max, because you get it free if you are a 'student' and I go to school so... I tried blender, ehh I probably should try it again. My school buddy torrented cinema 4D, and says I should get it, but torrents are bad and I dont want to get caught up in it  hmm  what is your favourite?

Re: 3D modellers, animators

Um...for animating, IDK, but for modeling, I've used Wings3D. I've heard of a program called Anim8or that might be of use to you.
Otherwise, just search; I'm sure there's something free out there that you can use!

Yawn.

Re: 3D modellers, animators

I use Blender and GTKRadiant. Radiant is a Quake level editor, but I use it to make levels for a game called Neverball.

This signature is TDD's fault... yes, I had to.
