Welcome new scratchers to the forums!
The forums are a place where you can get learn, help others, give suggestions, make new friends and even have a nice conversation with other scratchers!
But to do this, there are some things you need to know.
Every topic belongs in its own section. Makes sense right? That way, scratchers can find topics they need quicker. It would be very hard to get around the forums if you saw a spanish or suggestion topic in the show and tell forums, wouldn't it?
The main topics are-
Announcements- This is a section where only mods and the scratch team can posts topics about upcoming updates, new additions to the site, and new things going on with scratch. Most topics you can reply to and talk with others.
New Scratch Members- You'll probably be here a lot until you become a scratcher. Here is where you can introduce yourself, ask questions about scratch(sometimes) or welcome other scratchers to the community.
Show and Tell- This is an area dedicated to advertising your projects, not advertising anything else.
All About Scratch- This is where you can post questions or topics you have within the scratch program.
It's really late where I am so I'll have to finish this another time.

You're really into making guides, aren't you?
You should probably add Troubleshooting, and say examples of troubleshooting that don't belong in All About Scratch.

Can you help me with that?

Sure.
Troubleshooting-Post here if you find a bug/glitch (A problem) with Scratch. It can be if you find a problem on the website, on the forums, or on the program. Some example of what could be here, is that you found out that a userpage for some reason isn't working, you can't save on the Scratch Program, you're trying to download Scratch but it isn't downloading, stuff like that.
And to All About Scratch, add "Only ask questions and things like that here, not problems-Read Troubleshooting." or something like that.
Add misc as:
Miscellaneous-This is the place to post stuff that is unrelated to Scratch/doesn't belong in the other forums. Note that chatrooms still don't belong here (Nor anywhere) and that you won't be able to post here until you're a Scratcher (For New Scratchers).
And Other Languages as:
Here you can suggest other languages to actually be in the forum. Note that they have to be actual languages-Leetspeak, Pig Latin and other fake language forums will be closed. They belong in Miscellaneous.
And also, you should use this:
