LOL, so its not just me!Thats why I decided to have it send messages to the user instead of locking them out permanently. What if you locked yourself out? That wouldn't be good!

It's happened to me a couple of times on Photobucket.

Locking yourself out doesn't prevent you from resetting your password, though. If someone manages to lock himself/herself out, the person can always reset the password through your standard e-mail reset link.![]()
WOAH.... You've been upped to SCRATCH TEAM... Wowow...
It's because she's helping moderate the main site as well as the forums. Lightnin told me.

I support it all the way

I support, but maybe it should ignore it if it's from a computer you usually use? That way you wouldn't get false alerts from typing the wrong password.

Who the heck is Kaj?
A user who faked hacking accounts. "He" made a comeback in I think late 2010. He just was a person who wanted to scare us.

I support.
Maybe you should put this on Scratch Suggestions; I put an idea for flagging usernames on there and it's now under consideration by the Scratch Team. It may take a while, but it'll probably work

When there was the whole Kaj scare not that long ago, people were creating back-up accounts because they thought some one was trying to hack them. Why not have a system that sends you a message if anyone puts in an incorrect password?
The system would only give you five or six Incorrect Password Message at a time to prevent annoying the living daylights out of the user. This way, if you see that some one is trying to get into your account, you would be able to make your password stronger if you feel that the hacker might have a chance at getting into your account.

Guys, it doesn't matter if you mistype six thousand times, due to the limit all you have to do is click "Delete All Messages", and there won't be any lag because there can only be six password incorrect messages at a time.
So yeah.
I support. Fully.
(Although Kaj is fake and let's face it, unless you're Rainbow Tableing or Dictionary Attacking, or guessing the passwords of weak passworded users, you can't hack anyone. And who would waste their time hacking Scratch anyway? It's EDUCATIONAL!)

Fixed. It's a common mistake, but pretty discriminatory in my opinion.
