My shugo chara fan charactter (Ryan Hinomori) has a english name because of his backstory:
I was born in America. i lived a few years here, and mastered video games. Than, i was sold and shipped to Japan. and, they found me and adopted me.
From his prospective. He's also the jack i think of the guardians.
