Yeah man, don't be superficial. I go to school with sucky bad-looking clothes, looking bad, but I don't care-Why? Because why waste extra money on a jacket/pants/shirt that is the same, but looks better? Why should you care how you look? It's what's in the inside that counts-Anybody that doesn't like you because you have long hair doesn't deserve you, right?
Or looks worse. I'm not paying 80 bucks for pants that already have holes in them. It's amazing what garbage people will buy when it comes from a popular brand.

people with buzz cuts look angry to me for some reason, so i like long hair.

That's what some people don't get about me - that I don't care about how something looks.
No better way to say it than how you said it.

My hair barely goes to my eyes, and I like it that way. But i've noticed almost all the guys in my school have short hair. Not to brag, but I look better than most of the guys in my school, so I like it........ Sooooo?........
And do most girls only like guys with short hair? (i'm in 8th grade)
I don't think that it would matter, althought to be perfectly honest, I have a bias. I'm not sure why, but in the long run it doesn't matter. There's actually a kid in my school who has long hair... and is in the 8th grade... weird.

And to trekkie, I've never seen one on sale with holes in them other than in a yard sale... And usually they cost less... They must've tried to rip you off

(First off, I'm a girl, Second I'm in 6th grade so.......)
Long hair? Lots of girls in my school like guys with long hair. Personally, I love long hair. (I have short hair...)

If you have to ask if it's normal or not, it's not normal.

Nah, it's called "distressed" clothing. Dumbest idea ever.

I like having longer hair because I can whip my hair back and forth! No. I would prefer to have briwn hair to blond. Looks better long. Any ways what really bugs me is when little kids buzz their hair and get a 'lightning bolt' or 'check mark' on the side if there head. Looks odd on a little person imo.

Despite what some people say *koffkoffDeath_Wishkoffhackwheeze*, human beings are superficial creatures, and as such, will go for the more attractive ones. Movies are not realistic. If the most beautiful girl in school kicks cats, not only will she still get worshipped, kicking cats will become the in thing to do.
Thus, it all depends on: a)how you think long hair looks and b)how others think long hair looks.
Place more importance on a), but don't ignore b).

Longish hair that just goes over the eyes is ok but it kind of gets annoying once you see guys with it down to their shoulders and you spend a while trying to figure out if they are even a guy.
Once people start thinking your the opposite gender because of your hair than that is not normal, in such case I suggest changing your hair to avoid awkward moments.

My hair is always longish (partway down my neck, covering my ears, partially covering my eyes if I don't push it out of the way), except right after it's cut. I know plenty of boys with hair about the same length as mine, I would actually say its the majority.

Someone in my form had long hair and the girls loved him - they still love him now even though he got it shaved off. I had long hair but this girl with really long dirty hair told me I needed a hair cut the day before I got one. Just looking at her putsme off having long hair

I don't really like long hair myself, I like to keep my hair as short as possible (4cm at longest point) but it's a matter of personal opinion.

I don't really see what the big deal is. I'm a guy and my hair is so long that I've taken to tying it back in a ponytail.
Just go with whatever you prefer. I wouldn't be concerned about what others think or consider "normal." People are fickle and judgmental, so you'll always have someone that has a problem with what you do. Make life easier for yourself and stop worrying about what other people think.

I look horrible without long hair. I'm assuming you'd look the same, so keep it.

I think buzz-cuts are awful, I'm glad Albertt911 and my boyfriend both have longer hair. Not like really crazy long, just like wavy down to his eyes (in Jak's case) and fluffy in Albertt's case >w<

My hair is on my shoulders and nobody complains or teases me.

I'm a guy and I have shoulder-length hair. A couple a inches below my shoulders, in fact.
