At my local flea market I found a Pokemon Black and White TCG box with many cards in it for $2.50. I looked inside, and saw a Wartortle with 480 HP. I'm afraid it's not legit. Do you guys think it's legit? Oh, by the way, th Black and White box had Deoxys, Arceus, Luxray, and Pikachu on it.

No.
Well, the flea market certainly isn't a place to get real Pokemon cards. Still, I'm tempted...

I don't know much about the Pokemon TCG, but that description just screams "I'M NOT LEGIT" in my opinion.

Course not.
The highest HP for a pokemon card ever is wailord, with 200.

Well, I couldn't open the deck all the way, the cashier could've seen me. Anyways, when I looked inside, there were a TON of cards, about 2 decks with 20 cards each. The box was a little wrinkled, but still looked fresh. The thing is, the cards inside didn't look like cards. How could I've seen how many cards there were? They we thick, and I had the slightest thought that the rest of the cards were cardboard. The two decks were in a plastic tray inside of the box, with two rectangle openings for the cards. The plastic tray was wrinkled. The cardboard of the inside of the box was rough. Very rough.

If the deck was legit, it would have contained 60 cards.

Guess what? I went to another flea market and saw some Pokemon decks. They were similar to the others, but they had a Snorlax, Plusle, and Chinchou on the front. 460 HP. Thing is, when I saw the Plusle and Chinchou box, they had 2 of each of those Pokemon on the front. Is this normal? Plus, again, the boxs were wrinkled at the top, like people had opened the box, and put fake cards in them. Plus, on one of the decks, Chinchou was upside-down.
Definitely buying it next time. I didn't buy them again, this time.

I did not take a picture of the deck. Next time I will, though, if I remember. I forgot to the last two times. Still pretty sure they're NOT legit. But I'm curious. The cards looked real enough...

Good thing it wasn't Pokemon Red.
LAVENDER TOWN SYNDROME
I listen to Lavender Town everyday. It's not creepy at all.
But Youngster Joey scares me more. He calls me every minute. *shivers*

There are many ways of checking if Pokemon Cards are fake. 1. Put it up to a lamp if the light comes through, it's fake. 2. Fake cards are smaller or thinner than real card, these are only some of them.

These cards did seem thin... There were about 30 cards in less than one inch. I thought there were a few cards, but when I looked closely, there were actually a lot.
I should look at the words next time, to see if there was anything mispelled. Are there any other ways of finding out if they're fake or not? I don't have a lamp in the flea market. Although the HP seems enough... 2 bucks would be a nice deal for a 480 HP Wartortle or a 460 HP Snorlax.

Next time I am going to buy them, hopefully it's soon.
If I only find 2 cards in there... NM, I'll check.

Also if you had a legendary in there or something ,some fake cards are stickers on weaker cards
