Saving on Scratch

I dont know if this is already posted, but just in case Im going to do it  tongue  Some months ago I posted asking if there was any way to save in Scratch. And actually I found a way to save the variables for the next time you enter the scratch game or aplication. It was really simple: just dont inicialize the variables. Like for example, if you had a variable that is inicialized on 1 every time you press the green flag, just dont put it. If you dont set the variable, it will save the value without erasing it, so its a way of saving the aplication  smile

Hope you understood the explanation. Any dubts just post a reply and I'll try to explain it better  wink

Re: Saving on Scratch

Ok better then. Another thing that is also cool is that if you make an executable, this trick continue running in the same way  big_smile

Re: Saving on Scratch

Just remember that for this to work, you have to save the project when you're done using it.  smile

Re: Saving on Scratch

You can also use lists for easy storage, and it provides the same effect.

(you can also import and export lists as .txt, which allows you to move your savegame)
