So tonight I was just watching youtube videos when suddenly it would let me. This is because a message popped up saying "The uploader has not allowed mobile users to view this video." So I checked a video I watched just a minute ago by a different person and it said the same thing. Apparently this is something they just added. So if you want to watch something to go, you'll have to wait for the uploader to allow you to.

What about it?
It's fun to watch things on your iphones or wii.
But now we can't do that on some videos. D:

When you upload a video, does it automatically set it so people can watch it on mobile?
Nope, so far every video I've tried to watch doesn't let me.

Now I have to set it on all of my videos. Dx
Because people DO watch some of them on mobile, and wouldn't it be bad if they couldn't anymore?

...Why would they do that?
Seriously, Youtube. Why?

My Nook is the only thing I ever watch youtube videos on.
Now I have to use the computer.
And I can't stay up all night secretly watching them T.T

Are you using an app? If you go to the mobile website it doesn't.

I'm using the pre-installed Youtube Player.

Yup, that's the app. If you go to the internet and go to m.youtube.com it won't work.

You're using the built in app. The mobile website is different.

It's because there no ads on the mobile version. So some YouTube partners disable mobile viewing for there videos because they don't get money from it.

Except youtube already did it for everybody, whether the user wanted to or not.

Because YouTube cares more about money than its users.

The mobile site and the pre-built app is working for me on all the videos I've watched so far
The only ones that havent worked for me are the really old communitychannel vids.
