There was once a bear doll. A little girl loved to hug it, and eventually it got very frayed. Her mother threw it away, but her mother was blind and it slammed into the door. That night, the little girl hugged her pillow instead.

Kittens, because they won't maul me to death 
Lavalamps. Dolls have freaky faces.
Doors because then I can open one to get into an ice cream shoppe :3 You can't really do that with a window...
Pillows because I don't use blankets too much considering it's very hot in the uncharted Islands of Antarctica (lol)
