Shark Fin's Soup is a popular delicacy in Singapore, where I live. It's delicious, especially with vinegar, thought it's very expensive. It's often served at wedding dinners.

Some people complain that the brutality of removing the fin(hacking it off then leaving the shark to bleed and starve to death in the sea) is immoral and refuse to eat or serve shark fin's soup, but to be honest, I care more about my tastebud's happiness than the shark.

Come on!!!  It's horrible that they do that to sharks!  What did the sharks ever do to them?  And, before you start the whole shark attack thing, only about ten people a year die of shark attacks.  Usually, it's an accident.  More people die of bee stings.

I know the statistics regarding shark attacks...

Also, why does a cat play with its prey? Why does a lion(painfully) rip its prey from chunk to chunk? Because stuff higher up on the food chain can treat anything below it like slaves.

Of course, since we're the top, we can smash everything. Heck, during the reign of T-Rex the Mad, dinosaurs killed everything.

sorry but that's pretty cruel

"we have more power so we should abuse it to bring pain upon others"

we can't just treat other animals like slaves. if cows had guns and stood on two legs, i suppose we could be sliced up alive without any bad morality on someone's part, right?

you should care more about an innocent animal's life then trying to get your bourgeois taste buds content.

Well, they do it because they need to.  As humans, it's completely unnecessary.  We know it's immoral, but we still do it.
But even the dinosaurs died out eventually.

But why do we care? Are we sharks? Are we hunted? No. So why? Why do we care? If shark's fin soup was banned, would it better your life? If it wasn't, would you live a life of misery?

Also, helltank, sharks should be at the top of the aquatic food chain.  We shouldn't mess with nature like that.

Wait, how would a shark swim without a fin?

They don't-They fall, I'm guessing, struggle to swim, and bleed to death.

But guys, we're seriously messing with nature. We're killing too many animals, and that's making the underwater life unstable-In a hundred years, almost all aquatic creatures will probably be endangered/near-endangered.

Have you read Ray Bradbury's A Sound Of Thunder?  If you haven't, it looks like a short story you would like, based on your posts.

O_o
I never read it, I'll try it out. Well, is the movie, A Sound of Thunder based off of it?
EDIT: Yep, it is, I checked on Wikipedia. I'll see the movie first, as I won't have to buy the book. And I can do it now  tongue
(Don't think I like watching movies on the internet more than buying them-The problem is, all movie places closed down where I live.)

Would it be rated pg-13 at the most?  I might ask my parents if I can watch it sometime.
