You can either:
a) go to your "My Stuff" page and look for him under your friends or
b) type "http://scratch.mit.edu/users/[username here]

The google search only updates every while (1 hour, I think), and Scratch uses the google search, so if you looked for it right after you made it it might not have appeared.

Bingo. It takes a while for Google to index search results, so you won't see it right away.

Have you tryed the Scratch search bar???? you can find users easily there, just type in their username!

Yes, I believe that's what they did. ^,^ But the Scratch search is actually Google search, and the thing with Google is that it takes a while to index pages... I think Scratch should have its own search feature, that would save a lot of confusion.
