Anyway, I'm mostly with you on this one. I mean, a little bit of dropping capitalization is fine with me, (I constantly do that on chats, anyway. On chats I'm weird, one moment I type perfectly the next moment I'm typing without even capitalizing "I") but if the person abbreviates words ("plz" "thx" "ny1" "r" "u") I get a low impression of them.

As long as we're talking about our pet peeves, I find it really annoying when people insert LOLspeak into random posts. For example:

"HAYY GUYZ!! SO MEH SAW THIS AWSUM MOVIE IT WAS LIKE SO TOTALLY RANDOM LOL XD"

That just looks immature.

I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.

Find someone post count. Click posts under username. Find number of pages. Times that by 40 for min and 60 for max and you have a rough estimate of post count.

I normally type normally, unless I'm in a hurry. Then, I just start typing like this:

Who are you?

Ok, I just realised this: my typing's sort of automatic. I can't type incorrectly deliberately and I have good keyboard skills.

Though this keyboard (on my mum's laptop) is sorta driving me craaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazy.

Yay - I did it!

I say 'sort of' and 'crazy'. Not 'sorta' and 'craaaaaaaazy'.

Sorry if this post is confusing and rambley.

Okay, I kid.  tongue  I have to agree that typing poorly (whether it's due to bad grammar, spelling, annoying capitalization, etc) is very distracting and is difficult to read. In all honesty I tend to skip over posts with particularly bad writing. I guess in my opinion if it's not worth their time to type properly, then it's not worth my time to try to decipher their post.  hmm

I am rather proud to say I use fantastically exquisite grammar, punctuation, capitalization and vocabulary when I type these long, meaningful sentences.  tongue

Well, when I talk in chats, (As in Minecraft) and I'm kinda rushed, I use abbreviations and such.

And I think abbreviations are okay if you don't overuse them  smile

When you're chatting, it's fine, but otherwise, it's annoying. In chat, you can't spend too much time on one thing, so it's understandable.
