Re: [b][i][u] Disabled for New Scratchers?

url and img are disabled for new scratchers because they might post somthing inapropriate. There is no harm done with bold, italic and underlines. This is like saying all bbcode should be disabled for new scratchers. If someone swears, report it. They will get banned.

It's possible to post something inappropriate, look:

You can post inappropriate words with bold, underline and italic tags. I think it should be disabled for New Scratchers for that reason. It does do harm. And about the if someone swears, report it, they will get banned, the same thing would go for urls and images, no? Your post is kind of self-contradictory.

And wisegirl4eva, was it in a project? Well, I don't think anything can really be done in that case. Maybe, let's say if lego was a bad word, if a word had an L, an e, a g and an o it would be a * or something. That'd make it so you wouldn't be able to post lego, l.e.g.o, leego, stuff like that  tongue

Then all anagrams of bad words would be hidden... If "talk" was a bad word, "latke" would not be allowed on these fora...

I was talking about comments.  tongue
I don't think it should be implemented though (The last thing I posted), anyways.

And does the Scratch Team ever see suggestions? xD

Exactly. Oh, the horror!

We wouldn't even be able to post the word "highlights", "precarious" or "parents"!

^^ That's a little puzzle for the older guys  tongue
