My school is supportive of free speech in theory. I once said in Social Studies that the USA went into Libya because of the oil and what's gonna happen is that it will turn into an Islamic Republic. I think I got the record for fastest trip to the office.
That's harsh, it was just an opinion/theory, albeit a controversial one D;
I don't think the teachers should be able to do that! What happened to the supposed "freedom of speech"?

You should have seen what happened when I suggested that the USA helped Al Qaeda in Libya. The rebels might have some people from Al Qaeda. Don't get me started on Israel/Palestine.Wow those are both harsh responses to opinions...
But when you think about it, America isn't really the land of the free anymore:/

Yes it is, it's free er than most countries
It's actually the least free country in the Western world. Even Russia is freer.

Not a single thing were learning in school is what I want to do as a career. So it really feels like a waste of time >.> Wish I could just skip ahead to college.

The history they teach in school is written in favor if the rich. Read Howard Zinn's A People's History Of The United States.
I'm in the middle of it currently.

I think my school is awesome. Plus I have a great schedule this year:
AP Chem
Pre-calc/AP Stats (single class, twice as fast as just Pre-calc or just AP Stats)
Honors American Literature (probably my least favorite class, but still like it since we read)
APUSH (US history, it awesome to see the tiny causes and effects throughout it)
Basic Programming (in VB 2008 and I am pwning the rest of the class)
Honors Bio (good teacher, doesn't like homework)
Digital Print Design (basically a graphic design class AKA photoshop class)
So I'm pretty happy with it...lot less stressful than last year.

I hate school. You get bullied a lot at my school. Even if you're slightly different, people bully you. The students at my school are very harsh.
Turrets must die a lot there.

I don't LOVE school, but I do like it. It has its ups and its downs, mostly the boring subjects, and the annoying "gangsta" kids.
All my teachers this year are nice.
I'm good at school, I like hanging out with friends, but I really just wish I wasn't there sometimes.
My bus this year is terrible. Its filled with the "gangsta" kids, a bunch of 6th grade girls, and special needs kids. The special needs kids, I don't care about, just the fact I never get to sit with someone I actually like...
