Well, it's definately better than the old version. Full screen only makes it most of the screen, but not all to the screen filled. Works great on Windows XP. The browser I use is Internet Explorer. Well, if it's possible, you should make this Scratch's default Adobe Flash Player.

:cool

If you shift click the fullscreen button it goes full fullscreen. They're going to make it the default player in Scratch 2.0.

Hope this helps!

Has Version 31 been released?

Edit: Yes.

This signature is TDD's fault... yes, I had to.

Re: Beta Flash player

The problem is, Flash doesn't seem to be able to handle "repeat (  )" blocks as well as offline Scratch.

The ask looks very different. I think it's for the better.
It makes the text larger. All the speech/think are different.

It's working for me.

It's way faster, at least using Google Chrome on XP.

Re: Beta Flash player

Although when you play a project that uses the keyboard instead of the mouse and you press up or down it moves the page up and down instead of doing what the project says until you click on it.

Re: Beta Flash player

The flash player is soooooooo much better. The projects actually run smoother than in the actual editing software.........stuff. If you can, you should make it the default.

When you click the expand button, it looks all pixely and weird. It doesn't do this offline.

Re: Beta Flash player

It has worked very good, so don't think it is bad, and doesn't work properly. It has the proper programming, everyone should know that. The full screen is a good touch, but when I press that blue arrows button to go back to regular screen, it takes a while and makes any sound with the project sound like a million beeps in a row, but really fast. It still workes though, and it adds more things to do in some games. Thank you, Scratch Team, for using up your time to help us be happy and satisfied by making this new way to use Scratch.

It's in the process of being the default player - the bugs just need to be stamped out first.  smile

Re: Beta Flash player

I have done a few tests... Okay, I just messed with it a while, and the new player is SUPER fast! I will keep using it as opposed to Java. Also, on Java, it doesn't allow me to use Turbo. Hmm. I tested the speed using a project of mine. http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/SuperUser/2001602 Not sure if it's accurate or not, but gives me an idea of the speed.

Why can't everybody use it? I think that people not logged in should get to try this.
