Rocket Launch 1st September

I think I've just seen a rocket launch.

It was 4:15am NY time and 6:15pm Australia time.

It was like a bright orange glittering star that flew an arc (slowly) in the sky until it disappeared.

Anyone know which rocket it was?

It may have been this one, considering it would have been 9:15am in England.

Cool! Once I got up early to watch the space shuttle as it flew over my house. I lived in South Florida then.

When I was at Disney a couple of years ago, there was supposed to be a rocket launch the day we were at EPCOT, but it was too cloudy to see...

I think it was a satellite or a plane.

It may have been a satellite going into orbit, but not a plane because planes don't glow orange and rise vertically (unless it's a harrier of course)  smile
