how not to reply to constructive criticism
one time, i saw this project (which was bad) so i said
what i wrote:
nice project, but you might want to do this, (lists bad things that might have been made better)
what he/she wrote:
OMG HOW DARE YOU!!!! THIS IS BETTER THAN ANY OTHER YOUR STUPID [removed], (which was true, this was my earliest project at the time) !!!!
see? some of you people need to stop and really listen to what people are saying.

I think some people don't like getting constructive criticism from others if they feel the person giving the critique doesn't have enough knowledge/experience to give one. It's much like how not many people will not take seriously someone's critique on Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa if the guy doing the critique draws only stick figures and has never undertaken an art lesson or class in his life. More often than once I'll see a Scratcher shooting down someone's criticism (especially if the one doing the critique has no projects uploaded).
Of course, the user's response to the criticism isn't very nice. I think Flait7's approach when dealing criticism that we don't agree with is the best way to go.

Maybe you should have pointed out a good thing about that project as well. ^-^
People are nicer when you tell them you liked something about their project.
I know what you're thinking! "Neptune! Get rid of those filthy advertisements and give us back the Zarathustra siggy, you horrible person!" Well, don't worry about it, the Zara siggy will be back soon, new and improved! ^^ Meanwhile, just do what the sig tells you to. >.>Offline
