I founded a company.

I founded a company that makes card games. I got some of my friends and my sister to join. Our first game is called Battle Fighters. We don't have a name yet. Any ideas?

It's my birthday. Deal with it.

You did not found a company. Stop calling it a company. Why does everyone call any little group a company when it is not even legally recognized. Oh my god.

1.) That's not a company
2.) ScratchPro123, stop spamming
3.) PW123, end questions with interrogative marks  tongue
4.) Unlike the others here, I'll actually try to help out. Battle Fighters, ey? I'm not sure if this exists, but one where you have the normal deck of cards, and you put a card down. If the next person has a card that's a larger number than the one that's down, it kills that card. If you have no deck, you lose. (I'm sure this game exists, as it sounds like a game that would exist, but I never heard of it, so I'm not sure  tongue )

Re: I founded a company.

I wish I could help. Could you show some games online? If I could join on scratch then I could help.

My Idea:
Name: Redwood
Decks needed: 2 players: 4  3 players: 6  4 players: 8 etc.
Rules:

Normal: First, put all 4 decks together and shuffle them(NO jokers)

Second, Give each player 10 cards.

Third, each player puts a card face up on the table.

Fourth, They look to see if they have a matching number, same suit, or 1 number below or above the card that they have. If they do, they put the card on top of the other card. This is called the "trunk". Now, draw another card. Repeat until 5 cards are stacked on top of each other. Otherwise, the player must draw from the deck.

Fifth, now, you must add 5 "Branches". This works the same way as a tree but you must have at least 3 cards in a branch. After this, this is called a tree and a player must shout "Redwood!" so that the others can check. You must make the exact amount of trees that there are players.

When a player loses all of his/her cards AND has made the number of trees that they need, then they have won the game.

Solitary Mode:
Rules: Same rules,  but you time yourself to see how long it takes to get a tree.

Free to use, just give credit to me.

Take it easy, not all "companies" start of as being legally registered and founded, especially if they're starting from the ground up.  smile

True. Isn't it something along the lines of "It doesn't need to be registered unless it makes over 'x' amount of money"?

I think the registration depends on the area in which the company is located. I've heard of some cases where, if one uses his/her name as the business name it doesn't need to be registered. It's worth to look into if one is looking to create a business and register it for legal purposes.... but that's beyond the point now, I think this was a topic about designing card games? Can't really have a card game business if there's no game to promote.  tongue

Not necessarily. The rules regarding a business depends on where it's located (see my post above).

Yep, it's similar. A bit different, though.

Re: I founded a company.

I think your company would be more of a organisation. Companies are purely in it for the profit and seeing that you have released an idea for a card game for free confirms my opinion but it can be what ever you say it is. Just to let you know, legal companies have to pay $1000's of dollers each year and fill out lots of paper work. They also have CEO's and law people.

Re: I founded a company.

I remember in fourth grade, I would print pictures and me and my friend would sell them for some fake school cash.  tongue

Maybe that's the kinda company you mean. Real companies takes years to form. What you're talking about is more like a small group or organization.

As for your name, maybe something, like "The Card Catchers". I know it's pretty bad, but that's all I got.  hmm
