If you want an iPad get an iPad.
simple as that
And quit saying windows has viruses I've had a windows computer for years and I haven't gotten a single virus
I wasn't saying it has lots of viruses I was just saying macs will be more of a virus target if it's very popular.

What
so you're saying the Macs.... should have more viruses statistically?
I can go with that.

I'm saying that the people who make the viruses will make them for macs more than windows if macs become more popular. Because then there would be more people who could get them.

the virus makers make them for the most popular os, windows is currently more popular. If macs are more popular, then virus makes will make virus's for mac instead.

I say new laptop (Windows 7). It has more storage, has a keyboard (the iPad keyboard is TERRIBLE), can downloads stuff like Scratch, and can run Java, Flash, and a bunch of other stuff. Also, I suggest the avast! antivirus just because it's free, and works really well. The new Mac update (Lion, known officially as version 10.7) is terrible, and all Macs can't run .exe files.
Is there a way to make the Win7 taskbar look like Vista?
I've used AVG as my antivirus, and it works well too.
Yeah, I know Macs use APP.

Oh and Ipads couldn't really have a better keyboard. I mean, they're based off iPods. And how could an iPod have a good keyboard? It's just too small to have a good one. It's still a disadvantage and a fact of course.

Get the computer.

you can connect a keyboard to an ipad. Also, macs can simulate windows, and can also run exe files with wine.

Laptop. iPads are kind of awkward to use.

What are the prices of each?
I said in the first post, I got my current laptop for $450 (4 years ago), and iPads are $500.
