Variables are for holding values in programming, not for displays.  hmm  You could just use sprites for the displays...

What's wrong with them?  hmm  (Well, I don't use them as displays but still  tongue )

Hmph enjoy your fall - I get a lovely spring... without pans of new leaves.

I think we all know how much of a pain it is to make a display using sprites.  sad

Re: Position variables/asks/lists wherever you want them

[position [list^] over x:() y:() to x:() y:()]
And what is with the ask? Like, the input bar? That would be nice.

Yes. I feel that an extension on how the ask block could be used would be good  big_smile .
EDIT: lol quoted your post has sad faces in it because of the colon and the bracket.

Get around that by checking 'Never show smilies as icons for this post' at the bottom

They can still always be made more versatile.

I agree.  It is more complicated to display using sprites.  Variables offer convenience.

Re: Position variables/asks/lists wherever you want them

I'd prefer if they implemented something like the fonts in Stencyl so it could be like regular programming.
