you should get a Xbox 360,because you can also get a kinnect and they are awesome!

I hate 360.

The thing is, if you want only sports games and first person shooters, get the Xbox. If you want that and everything else, get the Wii.

Wii, purely because like 60% of all Xboxes overheat and melt themselves.

I'd say Wii since the Kinect basically "borrowed" the idea of motion play. I guess it depends on what games you like. If you like Mario, Sonic, Pokemon and have some Gamecube games around get the Wii. If you like Halo, Assassins Creed, etc get the 360
