This is totally an insane idea and well i admit that i sound a bit freaky over here but what i wanna do is write a whole client for scratch on JavaSCRIPT (make sure i am calling the word script here not JAVA core).. the benifits will be totally x-platform support , very fast and same output on machines and will be totally opensource ? anybody wanna join in ??

johnnydean1 tried to do that with some other people, but they didn't get very far, and it died. Go Everywhere is working on something similar, though.

Does it work on iPhone?

I tried it. It does, but I'm unable to enlarge/shrink the snap webpage by using the regular safari touch actions (open/close two fingers).

If it worked on iPhone, I would be really happy! xD

Well jen's code uses Canvas Element in HTML which is highly in beta ** on a lot of browsers so i wonder if that works on all browsers the same way ..
what i wanna do is use DOM instead of Canvas. DOM = Dynamic Object Model thats the web-page instead of the single canvas for hardware acceleration and support on all browsers comes by default.
but i am deriving it from jens' epic work.. (though i want to join the coding part with jens' and bharvey as well i think i might be helpful i can write Scratch On Server (basically a server side implementation of BYOB (scratch) so that people can use mesh amazingly and i am pretty familier with how to TAKE MOST OUT OF THE BROWSER lol )
