Geocaching Story

Here is a little story I'm writing. I decided to write it in scratch. Hope you enjoy!
Note: This is not a true story, or based on ANYTHING that is true, exept for the geocaching.

What this story is going to be about: It's going to be about two brothers, Jimmy, and Scott, who go on a geocaching adventure to see who can find a geocache from each of the 50 states first!

I'm never good at starting stories, so if you have a better way to start it, let me know.

Geocaching: In case you don't know what geocaching is, let me try and explain it. It's sort of like a treasue hunt around the world. People, anywhere, can go online, and pick a 'geocach' they want, and put it into their GPS. After this, the GPS will take the player to these 'Geocaches'. When you find a geocache, inside you will find some small prizes. You can take one prize, and replace it with a prize of your own.

Chapter 1:

The story all starts, when me, Scott Johnson, found my 100th geocache. My brother Jimmy started geocaching when I found my 50th geocache, he decided it would be fun for HIM to try geocaching. Jimmy always thought HE was the better player, but of course, he was wrong, and I proved it. As soon as we found my 100th geocache, Jimmy knew it was time to get me back for beating him in amounts of geocaches I found.

"Hey Scott, you know, it would be really fun to have a contest, to see who is the 'Ultimate Geocacher", he said

"Ah, you really want to loose?" I teased

"Hardy har har" He said. "How about if we have a contest to see who can find fifty geocaches first. One from each state. Who ever finds all fifty geocaches first, wins."

"You're on Jimmy, and goodluck."

Chapter 2:

The two of us starting making some rules. We wrote them down on a sheet of paper.

1. Each player gets 5,000 dollars to but EVERYTHING!"

2. Each player may bring two other people to be on their team

3. Each team must stay in the same state when looking for a geocache

4. The game starts Monday

5. Looser has to pay Winner 100,000 dollars.

After we where done working on the rules, I starting thinking on how I could win. The contest started in one week, so I knew I had to get started. I went to my room and started looking on the internet for local stores with great deals on GPS's. I decided it would also be a good idea to get a laptop, to better map out my routes, check weather, find GPS cordinces, and more. I found great deals on both of these, so I went to the store to get them. The laptop I bought was a simple one that I got for four hundred dollars, and the GPS I got for 300 dollars. As soon as I got home, I put the stuff on my desk, and started making some phone calls. I called my other brother Jason, and my best friend Alex. They both agreed that they would help. After that, I decided to try and make a list of geocaches from each state. Bye the time I got to around 10 states, I started to get tired, and I fell asleep.

The next morning, it was Tuesday, and I didn't think much about the contest. I thought of it once in the morning, but I didn't really care about doing it. The same thing happened everyday, until Friday. Friday, I decided I really had to start working because I only had the weekend left. I called up Jason, and Alex, and told them about the contest. Both of them LOVED to travel, and have gone geocaching before. First, you all mapped out all of your friends and family that lived in the different states. You find six people from four different states. Ohio, Florida, Pennsylvania, and Nevada.

Note, this chapter is not finished! I'm just taking a break from typing.
