I had that problem yesterday and asked the exact same question!!!!! wink You have to clear your browser cache. To find out how to clear your cache, go to the All About Scratch section and click "Why Can't I Change The Picture In My Gallery?" smile

Try right clicking, selecting 'Properties', and changing what the image opens with to Internet Explorer if it isn't already on that. Make sure the image is below the size limit(90800 bytes), make sure that it is one of the four accepted types(.bmp,.jpeg,.png, and.gif), and it should work! If not, clear your cache and try again.

Good News! There is new and improved picture uploading code on the Scratch website that should help you update your User and Gallery pictures much more smoothly. The pictures seem to load instantly or give you a good error message if your file is too big or the wrong format.

If you are still having troubles with the picture upload, please post to this thread so we can fix any remaining issues. Thank you and Scratch on!

Please tell me what problems you are seeing. The usual procedure should be:

1) Click on the Change Picture link
2) Click on the Browse button and navigate to your image file
3) Click on the file with the mouse to select it
4) Click on the Open button. This will load the file name into the text box on the
Scratch website
5) Click on the blue Update button and the picture should change or an error message
appear.

Thank you, I confirm that there is a problem with that gallery...I can't update it either, using IE7. I'll pass this on to the development team.

Which gallery is giving you trouble?

If you don't tell it any picture to use, it will pick a picture from the projects in it and I think it might change when you add new projects...maybe that is what's happening?
