Wait. If there's a flood in your area and, like you say, you're soaked, wouldn't it be a good thing to escape it or try to protect yourself from it, instead of posting on the internet?

Its Not That bad its just its raining real hard and is making a small flood. and the storm hasn't even hit us yet..

The storm is gonna hit me. I don't live on the coast but I do live near it... At the minimum we are going to get four inches of rain and over 50 miles an our wind.

Im going to stay on scratch as long as i can until We lose Power.. that should be about 6 hours from now, Yikes! Oh no the wind is picking up     ill post from time to time to give you info about the hurricane in my area. Run for cover! Im  near the major Rivers Like Delaware In Philadelphia

Yeah, when they first came on i freaked out then i realized that i have no music to listen to and shut off the radio.

Not to be rude, but I feel like they're just making it more dramatic than it really is.
On weather.com earlier, it said there were 3 reported deaths related to Irene.

HOWEVER!
One was a person killed by a falling branch. The only LEGITIMATE one.

One was a person killed in a car crash. Theoretically it could have been during an evacuation, but this isn't caused by irene.

One was a man who had a heart attack while boarding up his windows. I don't need to explain that, I believe.


I'm not saying that they should have died, and I am sorry for their families, but it is NOT truthful to say that Irene caused all three of those deaths.

Well, The storm hasn't Fully Begun and won't end until Monday So lets Hope There aren't other Deaths. and if there are they Will Be related to Hurricane Irene.
