Re: Mass "Scary Story" Thread

The Stalker
__________

In the fall of 1996, in a rural area in Minnesota, there were a large amount of reports of missing children, usually at the ages of four to eight. Most parents said that they went missing during the middle of the night, when they were supposed to be asleep. No bodies were ever found, and everyone was mystified about these strange occurences.

Until one day, when Charly Saunders, a boy at the age of 8 came to the police and told them about what he had experienced--he had almost been taken away by a shadowy man who was constantly stalking him. Authorities now suspected that this man was responsible for the disappearances of the children.

But the strangest part was what the boy described the stalker to be, which raised speculation about whether the "man" was really a human at all...

Charly said that one day, while he was exploring the forest, he saw a man watching him. It was during the day, but Charly told that the man's physical form was entirely pitch black, and no light reflected off of it. Charly also described this man to have hollow white eyes that stared at him ominously.

At first the police were a bit skeptical about what Charly was saying, but he insisted that it was all true. Upon seeing the man, Charly ran home, but the man did not follow him. Although, Charly did think that he saw a grin on the man's face, with bloodied teeth.

When Charly arrived home, he did not tell his mother about the incident. But during the night, when he was in bed, Charly was awoken by his bedroom door opening, and he saw the man, in his pitch black self, standing at the doorway for a split second before he vanished.

Charly told his mom about the man after that, but his mother dismissed it, thinking that he only had a bad dream. But Charly could've sworn that he was being followed by the man. When he was at school, he saw the man outside of the classroom window.

The man was staring right into Charly's eyes, as he did all the time. Whenever Charly told his friend to look at the window to see, his friend would say that there was no one there. This convinced Charly that only he seemed to able to see this mystery man.

Charly asked his mother, Janice, if she could install security cameras around the house, because he became increasingly frightened. His mother didn't believe him about the man--no one did--but she put them up anyway in case someone breaks into the house.

In Charly's bedroom, while he was sleeping, the door opened and the man walked inside. He stood at the side of Charly's bed for a moment and then reached his hands towards him. Charly was snapped awake by this, and he saw the man for less than a second before the man vanished out of sight.

The next morning, Charly told Janice about what happened, and they viewed the security camera footage. Just when the door began to open, the footage cut to static.

The last encounter Charly had with the man was when he saw him in his room, in the middle of the night, again. Something strange happened then, because he heard the man speak his name, in a demonic voice.

The man also supposedly "told" Charly telephatically that he fed on the souls of small children.

After this interrogation with the police, Charly went home and went to sleep. But in the morning when Janice went to wake him, he was gone.

Eh, I think it could've been longer and well-developed. I'll revise it later.

Mr.Bear

This is based off a true story. My half-brother is fine  smile

This I morning I woke up and my half-brother, Beckett, was sitting at the edge of my bed. It was strange because he normally is in his room until his mother wakes him up. I noticed that he was talking, but since I was so dazed from just waking up I didn't notice who he was talking to. I listen for a moment.

"You want to play peekaboo? Alright, Mr. Bear!"

I realized that Mr. Bear was probably what he was calling the Teddy bear I was holding. He was only three, so that wasn't too odd. He started to hide behind my reading pillow I kept next to my bed.

This... This I cannot explain. The pillow seemed to... move. I know, it sounds like I'm crazy, but when he jumped to say "Peekaboo!", he hit his head on the table. He was way too far away to even touch the table before, but at that point he was directly under the edge of the table.

That day, he and I went to the fair, and he INSISTED that I bring the bear. He loved my bear, and held it and hugged it and talked to it more. I couldn't figure out what he was saying most of the time, but one thing he said really stuck in my mind.

"I don't think that's safe, Mr. Bear..." There was pause as he held the bear up to his ear.

"Okay..."

He ran over to the Hammerhead, which was a ride he was CLEARLY not big enough for. It wasn't working right, so at the moment they were testing it to make sure it was safe. he ran under the line and jumped into one of the seats. Luckily, one of the testers caught him, and he was sent back to us.

When we were driving home, my mom needed to pick something up on the way home. I wish I would have taken the bear after the fair...

He opened the door and stepped into the street. He was run over. He's now in a critical condition in the hospital. I hope he makes it... After that, I threw the bear into the fireplace, and lit the thing up like a Christmas tree. Even though no one is home, I feel like someone, or something, is watching me sleep.

I think I heard it say that I'm next.

Re: Mass "Scary Story" Thread

Inspired by the bear story  big_smile

Jane Winters sulked outside the ice cream place. Her friends May and Harriet both had two dollars for an ice cream cone and she only had one dollar and fifty cents. Jane had promised to wait for May and Harriet, but she didn’t want to. She knew they would come out of the ice cream place laughing and licking their ice creams and so, she decided to go to the toy store instead. They probably won’t notice anyway, Jane thought sourly.
However, three doors away from the toy store was the antique store, and something there caught Jane’s eye: it was a doll.
The doll was old, but Jane liked it. It had a rosy face and dark curling hair and brown eyes. Jane might look like her if her hair was curly. She wanted the doll instantly, but doubted that one dollar fifty cents would buy it—it looked old and would be expensive. So it was to her great surprise that, when she went in the shop, the storekeeper caught her looking at the doll and said, “Oh, do you like that doll?”
    “Yes,” said Jane honestly.
“You can have it,” he offered, “for free.”
Jane’s eyes grew wide. “Really? You mean it? But… why?”
The storekeeper shrugged. “Ah… well, it’s been here so long… I mean…” He glanced at the doll. “So you don’t want it?”
“No! I do!” Jane said quickly. She took the doll, thanked the storekeeper and skipped back to the ice cream place. May and Harriet noticed the doll at once.
    “What’s that?” demanded Harriet.
“My new doll,” Jane said smugly, “Samantha.”
    “Can I see?” said May.
Jane frowned. “You can see her just fine from where you are now… and she’s mine.” She left May and Harriet there, eating their ice cream. “How annoying,” she said, when she was sure they were out of earshot.
‘I know,’ agreed a thin little voice.
    Jane looked around. “Who…”
‘Jane, it’s me,’ said the thin little voice.
Jane looked around. She stared at Samantha. “You?” she whispered.
‘Yes, me.’ Samantha’s lips didn’t move as she spoke.
    “But… but…”
‘That’s why the store man didn’t want me.’ The small voice grew sad. ‘He was scared of me, you see. But I know that you will understand… won’t you, Jane? Please?’
    “Yes… but…”
    ‘But what?’
“It sounds like your voice is in my head.”
‘Yes,’ agreed the doll, ‘it is. That’s the way I can talk. My mouth can’t move the way yours does, you know.’
“I suppose so,” Jane said, whispering so that passing people wouldn’t stare.
‘Why did you call me Samantha anyways?’
    “It’s what I named you.”
‘Please call me Annie. That’s my real name.’
    “Okay. Annie.”
Jane and Annie quickly became friends. As soon as Jane arrived home, she ignored her family and went straight to her room to talk to Annie more. Annie said that if she spoke to her in her mind, they could correspond that way, and no one would think Jane was crazy.
But that sounds as if she would read my mind, thought Jane, feeling slightly nervous for the first time.
‘I heard that,’ Annie said, sounding hurt.
Jane didn’t dare even to think anything against Annie. Annie would hear. But she couldn’t help thinking, That was so weird!
‘You’re scared of me too!’ Annie’s voice was full of cold contempt that surprised Jane. Before, Annie’s voice had seemed so sweet and innocent.
‘I’m not! Really,’ Jane protested. ‘We’ll be friends, I promise.’
‘You promise?’ Annie asked, with an unnerving return to her usual happy voice. ‘Best friends? Forever and ever?’
‘Yes,’ said Jane. She didn’t want to prompt Annie’s anger, and besides, Annie did seem so nice.
Jane spent so much time with Annie she didn’t have time for other siblings and her other friends. One day she complained about this. ‘Of course we’re friends, Annie,’ she said, ‘but I promised to go to Harriet’s house today.’
‘I thought we were best friends,’ Annie said coldly. ‘You’re supposed to put best friends first.’
    ‘But I promised Harriet…’
‘We’re supposed to be best friends, Jane!’ Annie’s voice was full of the contempt that scared Jane a little.
‘Oh, we are… but I did promise Harriet. I don’t know what to do.’
‘Take me too,’ Annie suggested, her voice small and sweet once more. ‘Please, Jane, you’ve no idea how lonely I’ve had to be all those years in that awful antique shop with the shop owner who hated me.’
Jane wanted to go alone, then felt guilty for it. ‘Oh, all right. Of course you can come!’
At Harriet’s house, Jane seemed very quiet, but she wasn’t really; it was just that Annie wanted to talk, too. However, Harriet couldn’t know this, and it annoyed her. “What’s wrong with you?” she snapped. “You’re hardly speaking to me!”
Jane felt a surge of contempt toward Harriet. ‘Nothing’s wrong with me!’ she said, forgetting to speak aloud.
‘What an awful girl,’ Annie whispered.
‘I know,’ agreed Jane. ‘I just hate her sometimes.’
“You’re so mean! You’re ignoring me again!” shouted Harriet.
“I am not mean!” yelled Jane.
‘Harriet is a terrible friend. You shouldn’t be her friend anymore, Jane.’
‘I really shouldn’t.’ Jane glared at Harriet.
“Yes, you are! Go away!” Harriet stamped her foot.
“I hate you. We are supposed to be friends,” Jane said with a contempt in her own voice that surprised her. It sounded a bit like Annie.
‘You should get rid of her,’ Annie said disgustedly. ‘Forever.’
‘Yes,’ Jane said, surprised to find herself agreeing. ‘Yes—’
Suddenly Jane’s vision went black and she felt dizzy. When she came to, she smelled smoke. She coughed and her eyes stung. “What’s happening?!” she shouted, scared.
Musical laughter rang in Jane’s head. ‘Oh, well done, Jane.’
‘Annie! What happened?’ Jane looked around in horror. Flames danced threateningly around the room, licking the wallpaper from the walls, burning everything and filling the room with awful heat. ‘Oh no… it’s a fire, Annie!’
‘You did it, silly!’ Annie’s giggle resounded in Jane’s head again. ‘We got rid of that nuisance, Harriet, remember?’
‘Yes, I know—’ Jane wasn’t quite herself. She stared around the burning room not feeling much concern. ‘So where is Harriet now?’
‘Trapped. Still in the closet where we left her.’
    ‘Okay.’
‘Now, Jane, nobody must know the fire is our doing,’ Annie continued, a smile in her voice. ‘It was an harmless game of hide-and-go-seek when the fire began. You ran from the house in terror, not knowing that Harriet was stuck in the closet.’
Jane nodded. ‘Yes, of course. Yes… nobody must know.’
‘Good; now, we must leave. First we should unlock the doors again, and run from the house in convincing panic… for you would be very scared, of course.’
Jane nodded once, then, after unlocking the doors, ran out of the house screaming shrilly and clutching her doll. “Help, someone!” she shouted. “There was a fire—my friend Harriet is still in the house!”
The fire department was called, but when they arrived the house had been burned to the ground. Everybody knew that Jane was pale and not herself that day, but they pegged it to the trauma of the fire, of course. Nobody thought about the rosy-faced curly-haired doll she held.
‘Now she’s out of the way,’ Annie said that night. ‘What a relief, isn’t it?’
‘Annie, what have I done?’ Jane said suddenly. ‘I don’t feel right.’ She shuddered. ‘I don’t remember locking Harriet in the closet. I shouldn’t have done that. Annie, I’m a murderer.’
‘Oh, Jane, it’s perfectly all right,’ Annie comforted, and her soft, soothing voice made Jane feel much better. ‘You didn’t do anything wrong; Harriet was just a horrible person who got what was coming to her.’
Jane sniffled. ‘I shouldn’t have done it. I’m the one who’s horrible.’
    ‘Stop acting like this!’
Jane was surprised to hear contempt reentering Annie’s voice. ‘Annie, I’m sorry,’ she apologized. ‘It’s just that…’
    ‘Enough,’ commanded Annie.
‘But what we did was wrong!’
There was a cold silence from Annie for a moment. Then, ‘Oh, I see,’ she said. ‘You think I am terrible. Don’t you? You’re no better than the shopkeeper.’
‘Don’t,’ Jane said. ‘It’s not like that—’
‘Yes, it is. We’re supposed to be best friends.’
    ‘We are.’
    ‘Then won’t you trust me?’
    A pause.
    ‘I will.’
The next day, May happened to see Jane, and stopped her on the sidewalk. “It’s terrible what happened to Harriet, isn’t it?” she said quietly.
Jane could see May’s eyes were red-rimmed from crying and was horribly guilty for a moment. Then, catching sight of Annie, she simply said flatly, “Yes.”
    “Poor Harriet.” May sniffed.
‘I see, she’s a friend of Harriet?’ Annie’s voice was dangerously sweet.
‘No—well yes,’ admitted Jane. ‘But she’s my friend, too. We’ve been friends forever! She’s one of my best friends!’ She tried to impress upon Annie that nothing should happen to May.
‘A better friend than I am?’ said Annie coolly. ‘You can’t have more than one best friend. Decide between us, then.’
‘Oh, don’t!’ Jane said fervently. ‘I wish you wouldn’t…’
‘Excuse me? I thought you said you trusted me.’
Jane blinked her eyes and fixed them agitatedly on May, who just stood there, waiting for Jane to say something more, and was a little angry. ‘I do trust you, Annie,’ she assured the doll. ‘Of course I do.’
Finally, May said, “I can’t imagine having to be there when it happened…”
“Yes,” Jane said again, wishing May wouldn’t interrupt.
‘Yes, yes, yes!’ Annie’s voice had become very high. Jane realized she was being mocked.
    ‘That was rude!’
Annie’s tone became sugary again. ‘Oh, sorry. Can’t you take a joke?’ The musical laugh sounded. ‘I was only kidding, silly.’
‘All right,’ said Jane, but she felt uncertain.
    “You’re so quiet—” May began.
“Stop talking!” shouted Jane furiously. She hadn’t meant to do it. She felt horrified afterward, as she had not even planned on saying the words, and had not meant to either. She hadn’t even felt angry enough to. Why did I say that? Jane wondered.
‘Don’t ask me why,’ Annie replied, and Jane remembered that Annie could hear all of her thoughts, not just the ones directed to her. This made her shiver, thought she only vaguely knew why at the moment.
May stared at Jane, confused and hurt. “What? Please don’t be mad, Jane.”
“I hate you,” Jane said bitterly, and again, she hadn’t planned on saying it. It was like the words were being forced from her mouth. ‘I don’t understand,’ she said to Annie, troubled.
‘You are the one saying the words,’ Annie said unconcernedly.
“I know you’re upset, Jane, but you’re being nasty,” May said sharply. “That’s no way to talk to your best friend.”
    ‘Best friend?’ hissed Annie.
Jane tried to stop thinking, but couldn’t. Well, she is my best friend, her mind muttered. ‘It’s not true,’ she began. “You’re not my best friend, moron,” Jane said, as though her mouth was acting on its own accord. At this point she felt very nervous. ‘But I’m not trying to say that!’
    May’s face crumpled. “I think you’re mean.”
‘She’s thinking bad things about you,’ Annie reported.
‘What?’ It hadn’t occurred to Jane that Annie could hear other peoples’ minds, too.
‘Yes, she wishes you were dead,’ Annie lied with relish. ‘She wishes that it had been you that was trapped in the closet, not Harriet, because she always did like Harriet better.’
‘How dare she!’ Jane was outraged. ‘Harriet just moved in two summers ago! I have been her friend much longer! She’s despicable!’ She advanced upon May; May stepped back. “I hate you!” Jane yelled, this time doing it herself.
    ‘Let’s get her,’ Annie suggested.
‘I know!’ Jane agreed, and suddenly her vision went black. When she awoke, she stumbled backward.
    “W-where am I? Annie?”
The doll was still with her. ‘I’m here,’ Annie consoled. ‘Everything is okay.’ They were in Jane’s room, but Jane did not remember coming there.
‘This is so strange. Where’s May, what happened?’
‘We hid her in the bushes after we got her,’ said Annie.
Jane was horrified. ‘You did this! You’re controlling me!’ Jane accused before she could stop herself.
‘You’re so naïve, Jane-y,’ Annie yawned. ‘It was easy. You trusted me so that you didn’t care what I did. Look what you’ve done, Jane-y.’
Jane moaned. ‘I didn’t mean to.’
‘It was your fault,’ Annie went on. ‘You wanted to destroy May and Harriet.’
‘No I didn’t. I said it but I didn’t really mean it! You were the one that really made me do it…’
‘You agreed with me before I did it,’ Annie pointed out. ‘It was what you would have done either way.’
Jane was sickened. ‘No, it was not! You’re evil! I thought you were my best friend, but all you did was take away my real best friends!’
‘Honestly, Jane,’ Annie said with cold contempt. ‘You’re so overemotional.’
Jane trembled. ‘I’m taking you back to the store, right now!’
‘I don’t think so, Jane,’ said Annie calmly.
    ‘What do you—’
And then Jane’s vision went black.

The next day an antique doll was returned to the china place by a small girl with straight black hair and bright brown eyes. “Good-bye, nuisance,” the girl said happily, and skipped out of the shop.
That same day a young redheaded girl stared in admiration at the doll. “Hello,” she murmured to the doll, wishing she could buy it.
‘Hello,’ a voice whispered in her head. ‘My name is Jane.’

That was great. Just great. Awesome story. Did you write it? You must have, if it's based on the bear story.

@Wickimen

Great story, although you should've added a bit more, like how Jane killed May when she was possessed by Annie, and a bit more about how Jane was creeped out by the doll "talking" to her.

Currently working on a story about a demonic creature that feeds on human souls. The creature kind of looks like the Rake, which is a cryptid-thing that's in this one creepypasta I read a while ago.

I remember feeling upset that nobody commented on my joke about the Rake, which went something like "Chuck Norris uses the Rake as his rake."

Eh.

Re: Mass "Scary Story" Thread

CP Creepypasta (KRON):

I kept a recording of a really old party on club penguin. It was in the basement because it was one of my worst recordings. I don't know why,but i had the urge to watch it agian. I headed down to the basement, and looked in the recording section. I found it, but it had the word "KRON" written on it. I never remembered writing "KRON" on that capture, but i decided to watch it anyways. I plugged it into my computer, and watched it. Everything was normal until i arrived in the Forest where it was being built,A black shadow showed up. Instantly, my TV turned on, showing the black shadow. I rushed over to the sofa too se what was wrong, and i tried to use the remote to see it wasn't working and the batteries weren't out. I put the remote to the side, and grabbed my video game controller. I pushed up on the thing and the tv froze. It was on the computer. I kept walking until the screen strangeled at me saying  KRON WILL COME. Than right at the moment, this mechanical machine came and said I AM WATCHING YOU. Than, i dissepeared, with the KRON tape lying there.

Re: Mass "Scary Story" Thread

I know a lot of animal crossing ones which are generally boring and the same. However there is one that I reccomend reading The Terrible Secret Of Animal Crossing. - Be warned, it contains swearing - a lot.

Anyway, here's a good one

bearlybreathing.exe
I'm beaing serious here, there seems to be some sort of truth to this story.

They say when you take a picture of someone you capture their soul in the camera. They also say if you print it off, that picture contains the soul itself and you can control them with it.

I’m not sure where to start. Do you know what the Primordial Soup is? A veritable ocean of elements, all floating around randomly. And through millions of years of time, eventually the right set of random circumstances came to pass, and the elements were able to connect together and form the worlds first single cell organism.

Now that’s a really boiled down version of it but I’m sure you get the gist of it. Fast forward a few billion years to the early 1990s, when internet use began to rapidly accelerate. Every home had a computer, and new connections between computers were opening on a by the second basis.

Trillions of bytes of data began to transfer around the world at the speed of light, music, text, sound, and most importantly; pictures. Now if, when you take a picture of someone and capture their soul, what happens when that picture is converted to data and placed on a hard drive? Does the soul follow? 15 years later we believe so. We believe that when you take a picture of someone and upload it onto your computer, alongside the image data a blueprint of the person’s soul itself is imprinted on the file itself.

Look at your pictures folder. How many souls reside in that folder alone?

That’s just the beginning though. These soul blueprints each retain pieces of a puzzle, parts of the soul itself as well.

Recently a group of hackers, who referred to themselves as the Cardinals, took an interest to this theory and began experiments. They found anomalies within the binary sequences of images based on similar features of the person they had taken a picture of. A binary DNA if you will.

Now these hackers had come to posses a set of three extremely important data files. One avi, one jpeg, and one .mp3, each of which possessing interesting unexplainable qualities.

The first, cradle.avi, depicts what appears to be a group of teenagers with a low quality video camera, exploring the basement of a house. The quality of the video is distorted completely beyond any comprehensibility, and the video is very low quality. For most of the video the camera is passed around the group, handed back and forth and jerked around too much to make anything noticeable out.

But near the end the camera turns at an odd angle, and you can semi clearly make out a young girl standing in the corner facing the wall. Her hair is long and black and she is wearing some form of white dress. You only see her for a split second but many people who have seen the video claim there just seems something wrong with her. A bit deformed but not in a way anyone can explain.

But the truly peculiar property of this video is what happens to the users computer at the end of it. On the last second of the video, if not already so the video will force full screen itself. Along with this you are left with a one second looping clip of a window in a wall. It loops 15 times, and then the girl is seen again, standing on the other side of the window with her back to the viewer, slowly wavering back and forth. After a few moments the video ends and the user’s computer permanently shuts down.

Inspection has shown that the entire registry becomes completely corrupt, requiring the user to do a total wipe and reinstall.

The second file is known as needles.mp3. This sound file, when played, plays for about 3 minutes. It is extremely distorted. One can occasionally make out some form of voice talking, but most of the sound is some form of growling, rolling crackled roar.

Users who listen to this file often experience extreme nausea and loss of balance for a brief period of time.

The final file is known as burningman.jpg.

The file name has nothing to do with what the actual picture depicts. Instead it just displays a haphazard mess of overlayed and meshed images of dolls and a hallway. There also seems to be an image of a man standing with his head cast down in the background, but the image is too distorted to make anything out, much like the other files.

The image, when downloaded and opened on a users desktop, will proceed to stay permanently open on whatever program it is opened through. Not only that, the program becomes disabled. Nothing else happens, the image just permanently sits there on your desktop, unclickable, unminimizable, and your just left there with the mans invisible gaze staring at you.

From what the group of hackers were able to discern, this file seems to have precompiled into the data something along the lines of Cmdow. Yet, as complex and intricate as the program is (it works across all OS platforms) no one knows who the original creator is. In fact, few people have heard of it as the file is uncopyable nor sendable.

This in fact further adds to the mystery, as often receivers of this file will obtain it from random anonymous emails, posted on forms on a download link. Posing the question, how was that poster able to upload it?

If you ever see any of these files, refrain from downloading ANY of them. They all have varying detrimental effects on your computers, from practically taking out your whole registry, corrupting system 32, freezing your mouse or crashing your computer.

Now onwards:

This group of hackers, the Cardinals, took to analyzing these 3 files and comparing their odd behaviors. They had heard of other such odd files, images, data, etc, but were never able to get their hands on them. At least as far as we know, though rumour states they in fact were able to locate and collect all of the known files like the original smile.jpg, barbie.jpg, even suicidemouse.avi. Not even the grifter was able to escape their grasp, rumour states. But rumour also states the grifter video even exists, but thats another story.

Nonetheless, all these files in hand, the group lined the files up and begin to meticulously work through the binary one 0/1 at a time, checking for similar strains and series of binary that matched.

And they did manage to successfully do so, at least legend states. The result were 7 individual execute files that did nothing. Simply a gibberish pile of 0s and 1s. They endless puzzled over the files, each tackling an execute each. They decided to name them after themselves, Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Envy, Sloth, Wrath, and Pride.

At last they attempted to line the files up. Remarkably, something odd happened. The copies of the files quite suddenly meshed together. The result was a single complete Execute, already named.

“BarelyBreathing.exe”

And what of this file? Well not much else is known after that point. They were too smart to just execute it. They analyzed the file every possible way. Hex, binary, conversions, anything to figure out what this odd file would do.

To no avail, even after forming together it was an even bigger jumble of 1s and 0s and made no more sense than the separate executes.

They backed the file up on a flash drive and proceeded to run it. That was the last command found run on their destroyed computers a week later. Their corpses had been disfigured beyond recognition. Description of the corpses stated that it almost seemed as if they had been brutally slashed across their faces and arms. Every square inch of skin that had been bare had been mutilated. Almost microwaved and then sliced repeatedly by a micro thin razor.

The government attempted to hush up the event, but there was some media leakage, and because the Cardinals had been keeping a blog amongst themselves and a few close friends (its closed down and deleted now so don’t go trying to find it) it quickly spread out as per what they had been attempting to accomplish. And if it was or was not related to their terrible deaths.

And what of the flash drive? A friend, who knew of its existence, later checked the home of the group and was unable to find it. According to reports the drive was found in the pocket of one of the group and had been taken into custody by the police, and then simply vanished.

The trail continues on, far more though. The file resurfaces every few weeks around the globe. Governments attempt to cover it up but some media leaks out, of course. Look to the news for people mutilated in their own homes by a “murderer”, their computers stolen, etc.

And if you ever get a cryptic email with an attachment labeled BarelyBreathing.exe, for *shoops* sakes DO NOT OPEN IT!

So let's investigate this further. Google barelybreathing.exe story. The first result is a blogspot containing a video. a comment says
