Stretch block?

I have a question-Why was the stretch block removed? It would be useful for many things.

Re: Stretch block?

I don't know, but I'm going to guess it conflicted with the size block. If you try changing the stretch, you'll notice the sprite's size changes with it. And if you change the size, it resets the stretch completely.

It's just a guess, though. Having the stretch blocks would be really useful.

I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.

Well, since it's an obsolete block and isn't normally available, you'll have to copy it from another project. This is a good one, because it has many obsolete blocks (stretch included).

If you use an obsolete block like that one, does it work online?

Re: Stretch block?

I don't think so, since Java/Flash player only support selected blocks. It's not like any made up block would work with it.
