I'm warning you, none of this namby-pamby nonsense about 'New Scratchers'. I am going to be a curator or you will live to regret this. I need to choose the best projects, not those that people say are all that. My view is brilliant. Or Else. Remember that. Me a curator of you living and regretting this.
I see. Why, exactly, would we regret this? Because a person that signed up yesterday has seen better projects than people that have been on Scratch?
And also, it's almost certain (I'd say certain, but as I'm not in charge of choosing people, I can't say that) they won't pick you if you threaten them. And, if you're new. And, there's no namby-pamby of New Scratchers-It's that you must have been helpful on the Scratch Community. Seeing you made an account simply for threatening the ST and trying to be a curator (I can guess by the username), I doubt you'll be classified as somebody that was helpful.
Why are so many Scratchers getting me nervous lately? xD

This is an extremely unintelligent way to ask to be a curator. Who do you think you are? You are powerless in this decision. If they wanted to, the Scratch Team could just kick you out of the site right now. Just what are you going to do if you don't get picked? If you really want to be a curator, you are willing to wait until you are no longer a new Scratcher and you are willing to work at it all the way.

You need more than a sentence of why you should be curator. Plus, New Scratchers cannot be curators.

Well, coolstuff, if a random person just asked, "Can I be a curator?" they won't get picked. You got picked because you were one of the first to join, and you were pretty helpful, no? People that are known for being helpful, of course, have the most chances. But the thing is that almost everybody here are New Scratchers that aren't known for helping too much, and also post very small posts.
You're DeathWish, right? Weird name...
Also, Coolstuff, were you a mod at that time?
No, I was not! In fact, I'd been inactive for a while.
The point is, demonstrate that you'd be a good curator, rather than writing a lengthy speech about it.

Please can I be a curator? I have been on Scratch quite a long time, and I answer people's questions if I can. I look at lots of projects, not just the ones on the front page. Sometimes I find really good underated projects, like brilliant games that no one has heard of, that deserve to be 'front-paged'. I would add these projects and change them so more people can be on the front page. Some projects should have more publicity!

That's a bit unfair. Some people (like me) might have lost the password to their old account and had to make a new one. If I was a curator I wouldn't choose my friends projects or I wouldn't just look over a new persons one, saying 'It's OK, but their new'. I find that a lot of well-known projects are seen because of the remix's, or their new, or because they were featured. For instance, Puptopia, by Jasmidge, is a brilliant game to play. I got the basic outline for my Pony Kingdom Series from it.
Another thing is that lot's of people watch silly, random animations. I've seen lots with random names, like gsmafg or fahgj.
I hope this shows:
a) New Scratchers can just be a bit unfamiliar sometimes. Doesn't stop them from their priviliges.
b) Sometimes the front page things need a bit of work done.
c) I want to be a curator
d) What I would do as a curator.

Hi, this is my third post about becoming a curator. I'd like to be chosen so I could show scratchers some cool projects - ones that don't get the attention they deserve. Then, the users I curate can finally be given the enthuasiasm they need, knowing someone is viewing their projects. I don't really care when I get chosen, weither its next week, or next year - I'd like to see on the front page any time throughout my Scratch Career:

Actually, moderators don't decide this. The Scratch Team does.

However unfair it seems (and is), New Scratchers can't always be trusted. They need to show they don't spam and say silly things. They also need to post some projects. They might put silly things on the front page if they became curators.
Some new scratcher have brilliant projects; they have used scratch, just not the website and/or the forums.
EDIT: Some people will think you didn't go on Scratch very much if you lost your password.

You chose "famous" projects that don't need to be curated! The point of curating is to show people projects that deserve more views!

Could it be possible if someone decided to vouch for them, saying that their old accont was deleted? I do frequently try and update projects. I'll look for inspriration and try and break the status of 'New Scratcher'. Also I did use my account quite a bit and I didn't post for a while, working on projects here and there. Problem is, they were too complicated for me to understand so I couldn't do it. :-( I worked on the original Scratch School (I've got it on my laptop) and Scratch World and Pet World and all sorts of stuff that isn't finished. I am going to be mega busy on scratch so I hope I become new accounts.
I did use scratch lots, just didn't finish it. I am going to go back to the unfinished ones after I understand a lot more about scratch.
P.S I knew it was you, after the spelling corrections.
