I am thinking of getting a drawing tablet, as I have been wanting to make a webcomic for quite some time and I don't want the comics to look like cr*p. And recently I have accumulated a wad of cash by babby sitting so I am starting to wonder what I should get. Do you have any suggestions? What is the cheapest I can get? Is it any good?
Thanks in advance.

I remember I bought a tablet for only 100 dollars, and that is cheap for a tablet, right?
I suppose. I'm not really sure. Was it worth it?

Wacom Bamboo CTE-450. It came with Photoshop, but I don't think they still sell them. Checking to see price on Amazon... the cheapest is around $180 used. Not the cheapest, but it works GREAT! Wacom makes great tablets. See if they have anything cheaper if this isn't for you.

You should get one. My teachers have some and when they are presenting to the class on the projector there's a handy little program that lets them doodle just about anywhere with the tablet

Thanks. And our teachers don't have Smartboards. Just projectors hooked up to computers.

Monoprice 12inch Drawing Tablet (6x10 in drawing area). 1024 DPI/pressure thingy. Wireless pen (AAA battery).
Best investment for the $100, and it also has many a hot button.

I'm also thinking of buying a drawing tablet... except I don't have an accumulated wad of cash

I have a tablet, a Genius MousePen tablet, but it makes wobbly lines. It's a common issue with even Wacom tablets, so you'll probably need to do some adjusting, calibrating, and research. There are a few ways to make nice lines with the tablet, but I'm not sure how, really.

I bought a bamboo drawing tablet for under 100$.
Then again, in South African rand it was like R600.

The Bamboo CTE-450 sounds great, I'll probably get that.
Thanks for the help
