The Golden Spider's Curse (Minecraft Story)

I made this Minecraft Fan Story a while ago, and I see people are posting stories here, so here it is.

The Golden Spider's Curse

After a day of mining Steve finds himself left alone in the dark. He comes across a cave with hidden secrets and dangers, including a new friend. He and his new friend take on the hardest possible quest to get back home. Along the way he encounters peril, sadness, and victory. Read The Golden Spider's Curse below for a thrilling story to enjoy!

Day 1
Clumps of dirt covered my torn jeans. The square sun was beating down hard at the entrance to the mine. I glanced over at the watch on my wrist. "Getting late. Better get these minerals stored away for the night." I scooped up today's finds in my hands. 72 coal, 22 iron, 12 redstone dust. I could have done better today. Maybe I should enter that cave I found? I forgot about the idea completely and continued on bringing the minerals to my chest. After a few minutes, the sun decided to set earlier than usual. I stopped straight in my path. It felt like a spider was crawling down my back. There can't be. I'm imagining it. It soon got dark enough to the monsters' likings. I started to sprint. Gravel shot up in the air as my feet scraped against the walkway. The next thing I knew, it was night. I couldn't see the path, so I reached into my pocket for an empty torch and a flint and steel. I impaled the torch into the ground. The screech of my flint and steel in action almost sounded like a moaning zombie. It's just my imagination. It's just my imagination. I convinced myself that I was safe, but that wasn't enough. I had to create a shelter. I ripped the torch out of ground and waved it in my wand, the fire leaving a trail of smoke going off into the wind. In the dim light I had, I saw a forest biome out in the distance. Suddenly, a loud shriek echoed from behind me. I jumped and the torch flew out of hand. The end. The flames ignited the grass. Water. I need water! My instinct was to take a bucket out of my pack and run find the nearest water source. Through the light given off by the flames, I could see an ocean on the other side. I darted out to the water with my steel bucket clanging and swinging in my hands. "SSSSSSSSSSSSS!" My bucket dropped to ground and I discovered my sword was in my hand. I whipped around and lunged forward with my sword. "SSSSSSSS-" The green demon was now in two pieces. Instinctively, I dropped to my knees and shielded my head. An explosion shattered my bucket and knocked me back far enough that I could see the forest again. Correction, what was the forest. The beautiful lush green foliage was now a mass of devilish flames. My chance of getting any wood was doomed now. An arrow flew above my head. Not again. Not this time! Cowardly, I ran instead of fighting. I was sweating, my adrenaline was pumping, and my knees were getting bruised up. I saw a cave up ahead. I turned around and the skeleton appeared to have lost me, so I lit a few torches in the time I had. I nailed them into the stone walls of the cave, and blocked the catacomb of the cave with the coal I had collected. Finally, I was safe, for now. I was breathing so hard, I couldn't believe I was still alive. My arm was bleeding and my hands and legs were bruised from the explosion. If I want to survive the night, I need to think. I sat down on a rock and wondered what I could craft with my remaining minerals. Minerals. I reached into my pack and looked to see what was left of today's mining, aside from the coal I used. 4 iron, 1 redstone dust. The rest was all gone. I can craft a compass with that. I immediately placed my crafting table in the corner of the cave and crafted myself a compass to find my way home. In a few minutes, I was done. It was beautiful. A chrome-like highlight glimmered on the side of the forged steel. The redstone hand pointed east. East. That would be...on the other side of this cave. I snuck outside with my hand clenching the compass like it was my life. I waved a torch in the air to see what was behind this cave entrance. I can't climb that! A tall mountain cliff edge loomed over the cave entrance. The only way to get back home, would be go through this cave...

Day 2
I managed to curl up in the corner of the cave and sleep the night. The thought of monsters awoke me a few times, but I lived. The square sun began to rise and created such a beautiful scene. The sky was white and faded into a bright orange glow by the horizon. I almost wanted to stay here for a while, but I knew the cave was my only way home. I placed my pack in my lap and reached in to find my tools and torches. My iron sword, iron pickaxe, and 2 stacks of torches. It'll have to do. I'll have to use my torches wisely.I stood up and instantly felt light-headed, so I sat back down on the rock. It felt as if a spider was crawling up my back. I slowly scratched my back. The feeling crept up to my neck. I slowly turned my head around. I closed my eyes shut, knowing the possibilities. Nothing attacked me. I opened an eye. A baby spider, or spiderling. It was chocolate brown and its eyes and feelers were a sad grey. "Hey little buddy. Come for a visit? Wait, how did you get in here?" The spider replied with a short and silent screech. It moved it's feelers up and down then hopped. "Bye little guy. I gotta go for now." I stood up, stopped mid-way, and continued. I swung my pack over my shoulder and lit a few torches with the last strength from my miniature black lump that was my flint, and the rusted steel that was my igniter. I grabbed for my pickaxe with my right hand. Here I go. I gulped and slammed it into the coal I had used to block the wall. The coal pieces shattered and rolled out of way. My eyes saw a dark and ominous catacomb littered with ores along the walls. I cautiously stepped over the coal and unfortunately slipped. The coal rumbled and I made a loud thud that echoed. Great. Hey look monsters, a human right over here! A "ssssss....." echoed back. Perfect! A creeper waiting for me. I got back up and brushed the dirt and dust off my jeans. As I stepped through the cave, I could hear monsters taunting me. Every time I heard one, I slammed a torch into the wall. I was holding one for seeing, too. In the distance I heard bones clattering. I saw arrows in the wall. Craters under my feet. Some stalactites had fallen and pierced the ground below it. I gulped. That doesn't look fun. I proceeded to place torches on the wall. Just around the corner, I saw something bad. I couldn't believe it. A dead end. I waved a torch in the air. "What's this?" There appeared to be writing on the wall. I squinted through the dim light and attempted to read it. It wasn't words. It was cave paintings of skeletons, creepers, travelers, miners, and even ghasts. I shivered at the thought of one. I silent shriek echoed behind me. I whipped around and called, "Who's there?" It cried again. Slowly and cautiously, I crept around the corner, my footsteps echoing in all directions. The next thing I knew was I couldn't see. My vision was covered by...brown. I pulled the spiderling off my face and gently placed him on the ground. "Came to see me?" The spiderling made a hiss, either happy or angry. It hopped around afterwards, so I guess it was a cheery hiss. "Are you trying to tell me you want to come with me?" The spiderling nodded. "It's too dangerous for such a little guy like you." It hissed again, but this time I didn't know it's emotions. "Fine. You can follow, but be warned." The torch in my hand hissed like the spiderling and burned out. I relit the torch with the final strength of my flint and steel. I didn't like knowing that. This was my last torch.

Day 2, Entry 2
Without any torches my chances of avoiding monsters was very slim. The only possible light source that I could find would be lava, but I'm only a few meters under sea level. The only lava would be a lava fall, and those aren't very pleasant to find. The spiderling sprang up off the ground and clung to the back of my shirt. "Okay little guy-I can't keep calling you a little guy. You need a name..." I wasted some precious time thinking of a name for a baby monster. "Spinner. You spin webs, don't you?" Spinner shot a web that stuck to the wall behind me. It covered up a cave painting, important or not, it was unreadable now. "Nice job." My goal was to find gravel for some flint. Then I would need to search a little harder and mine some iron ore. I could craft a new flint and steel to light more torches. "Spinner, time to mine." Spinner hissed cheerfully, I think. I grabbed my pickaxe out of my beaten up pack and swung it into the wall. Every single strike to the cavern wall could be heard from far away.Stone. Stone. I swung again. Still nothing here! I swung my pickaxe into the wall one last time and retrieved it from the blasted stone. It crumpled into large chunks, and the mine started to shake. I glanced over at Spinner to see what he was doing. Nothing. He was just - shaking. I began to shake too. The whole cave rumbled. Pebbles rolled down the walls and eventually got larger. Soon enough, Spinner and I were stuck in rubble. This wasn't the worst yet. The floor beneath our feet collapsed, sending us falling into a dark room. I wasn't sure what it was, as long as I still had my spine. I opened my eyes but it had no effect. The room was pitch black, so we must be in a cave system. I tried my best to get up, smashing the troublesome chunks of stone. A faint squeal could be heard below me. I called out, "Who's there?" It repeated. I dove back into the rubble, trying to locate the continuous sound. I pushed over a large boulder with the last of my strength as I collapsed to the cavern floor. My hand was touching fuzzy. The squeal was right next to me. I finally understood where the sound was coming from. "Spinner!" My energy came right back to me and I scooped him up in my hands. "Spinner...are you hurt?" Stupid question to ask a spider that can't speak English. He replied with a soft moan. I shoved the rubble out of the way and began to smash it. I gently lowered Spinner outside the rubble as I searched for flint and iron ore. Smashing stones, one by one. The job seemed endless in a pitch black room. Suddenly, my hand felt a piece of flint. "Yes!" Spinner attempted to cheer too, but it came out as a faint squeal. Poor guy.I shoved the flint into my pack and began to mine until I heard the sound of iron ore. In one smack, I was successful. I cleared out the stone and created a simple furnace. I placed some coal inside for fuel, and I smelted the iron ore into ingots. I couldn't say it was beautiful, as it was dark. Wait. I shoved the rest of my coal into the furnace. It gave off a fair amount of light I needed. I ran over to Spinner, forgetting my horrible condition after the fall. My limbs ached. My body was bruised up and my leg was bleeding. I didn't care about me. I cared more about Spinner. I looked at him. His leg looked a little broken, but the rest of his was fine. "Don't worry, bud. I'll fix your leg." I wasn't sure what I was doing, but I created a cast out of birch leaves stored in my pack. I gently wrapped it around Spinner's leg. Once I was finished, Spinner squealed once more, but that was it. "All better!" I got up and limped over to the furnace. I took out the iron ingots and shaped it into the igniter. I pulled an empty torch out of my pocket and scraped the igniter across the flint. The torch's flame looked like a miracle. Light. I waved the torch in the air. Unfortunately, the first thing I saw was not a catacomb or an exit. Not again.

Entry 4
I was face to face with a skeleton. My sword! I dove into the rubble to find it. Struggling, pushing large rocks, avoiding arrows, and searching for a sword all at once isn't as easy as you think. After looking through all the rocks, I was sure I'd lost it. Oh boy. I threw myself over to the corner of the room with Spinner. I shut my eyes and prayed to Notch to save me. Surprisingly, Spinner jumped up, cast or not, and lunged forward at the skeleton. Being a naturally fast creature, Spinner dodged an incoming arrow. He latched onto the skeleton and knocked it into the cavern wall. Clumsily, the evil skeleton's arm flew off and landed on the ground. The first thing that ran through my mind was to use that arm as a weapon. I sprang forwards out of the way of the action and swiped the mass of musty, bloodstained bones off the floor. I swung them around as a flail and slapped the skeleton across the face. It attempt to get back up, but I swiftly lit a torch and threw it at the skeleton. It gave off a bloodcurdling moan and burned from the fire, or the light, I wasn't sure which. I sighed and stared at Spinner. "That was amazing." Spinner hissed and hopped on my back. "Ready to go?" Spinner and I set off deeper into the catacomb. Along the way, we came across a few interesting sights. More cave paintings, mainly of spiders and humans, and some pictures of the nether. Occasional hisses could be heard deeper into the cave. I guess the monsters were too afraid of my blinding torch to kill me. I mined a few ores, including 10 iron. I smelted them all and continued deeper into the cave...

Entry 5, Altitude 30
My watch shattered from the fall. I have lost track of time, and for all I know it has been a week. My body is growing weaker, and I am starving. Spinner is too. If this cave doesn't end soon, we will both die. Plus, the cave is getting even more boring. There are no cave painting, monsters, or stalactites and stalagmites. Just a large, endless tunnel of torture. Spinner hissed angrily at the cave. It echoed, but there was no reply. I stopped moving and dropped down on the ground on purpose. I needed a break, and to sleep. Just, a break. Sleep...Soon enough, I was deep asleep. I never had a dream as bizarre as this one. I was in a chamber, or a prison cell. Spinner wasn't there with me, so I was a bit afraid. There was no light, so I lit a torch. I eventually began to stare into the flames, wondering about the cave. Will I ever made it alive? Why am I getting such bad luck? Suddenly, the flames exploded. I could make out a face in it...a creeper. I jumped back, startled, and the torch fell to the ground. The flames still grew bigger, and it started to laugh menacingly at me. "You fool. You will never survive! The monsters shall get their revenge..." The flames faded. I was scarred. I couldn't move. Literally, I was stone. Spinner appeared in front of me in a poof of black smoke. He grew in size. Larger, and larger, and larger. His rich brown and grey patterns changed color - to black and gold. I saw evil in Spinner's eyes. He just stared at me, as if I was his prey. Then he pounced at me, and I awoke. I screamed in fear. I swiveled my head around in all directions. My heart was pounding faster than ever. Spinner was gone.

Entry 6, Altitude 10
It couldn't be. He couldn't possibly have left me here. Dreading what might come next, I jumped up and stretched, getting ready to go through the rest of the cave. I crafted a new iron sword just in case. The echoes of the monster's voices taunted me. With my pack slung over my back, torches in my left hand, and a sword in my right hand, I ventured deeper. I am still unsure what day it is, but I can't live much longer. Suddenly, a voice calls out, "Give up now..." "Never!", I shouted back. My thoughts were filled with rage, betrayal, and death. It was all too much. I limped forward. I wanted to give up, as much as I don't want to at the same time. What does my conscience want? I can't decide! Right as I approach the corner, I see light. "Light!" I started to cry as I ran over to the source. Tears were running down my cheeks. They were tears of joy. Though, they didn't last long. I finally got to the source: A lava spring and a wall of obsidian. Obsidian. I didn't have a diamond pickaxe! The tears came back but filled with sadness. It's all over. Right then, I remembered one of the cave paintings I saw along the way. It pictured a human holding a diamond by a lava pit and a spider surrounded by darkness. That spider...was it Spinner? No, spinner is much smaller. Though...the diamond. Does the painting mean the diamond is under all this lava? My strength and hope came back to me as I crafted a new bucket. Then I remembered the last time I used a bucket: That caused all this. Putting my past to the side, I scooped up the lava and poured it in a crater I dug out with my iron pickaxe. The heat bothered me. I wasn't sure if I was on fire or not, but it didn't matter now. I was almost back home. I picked up the last bit of lava with my glimmering steel bucket. Underneath was a shrine. It was hand-crafted from Lapis Lazuli and gold. In the center was a diamond. The first thing I did was the stupidest thing I have ever accomplished. I snatched the diamond from the shrine. Suddenly, a memory came back to me...

Entry 7
It was the day before the night I almost died. My mining productions were great, until I fell below into a cave system. With a few stacks of torches and some ham, and was able to explore deeper. The cave was great. I found Lapis Lazuli, Redstone, and even diamonds. I couldn't feel luckier. I eventually came across a similar shrine: but it had a black and gold spider crafted into the top. I had smashed the shrine apart, the whole thing, and took the precious gems. I even got a material that no man has mined yet - Emerald. I safely stored away the minerals back at home and continued mining the next day. My mining productions were horrible, I didn't even get two stacks of coal. I wondered if I should further explore that cave, but I convinced myself not to. I was on my way to store the new minerals in my chest, that was the night the sun had went down earlier than usual. The day that changed all. Taking the diamonds from this shrine reminded me of the other shrine. What if, they were connected? The mine began to shake. Boulders and rubble crashed down the walls. It was the worse I had ever seen. I quickly hammered away with my diamonds and sticks, then finally crafted a diamond pickaxe. I lunged forward and hacked away at the obsidian. It was stronger than I had imagined. I can barely make a dent in this wall! Suddenly, a piece chipped off. I slammed my pickaxe into the wall one last time before it collapsed to my feet. I stood in awe. What was before me, was a Nether Portal. The purple vortex shimmered as if it were a black hole. I clutched my sword and pickaxe and cautiously crept up the portal. I stood in front, staring. A voice called to me. "This is your ticket home. Prepare for death!" I was stunned by the random dialogue, puzzled. How can the way home be my death? I knew this wouldn't be pretty, so I used the rest of my diamonds to create a diamond sword. Unfortunately, the rubble finally blocked off the way I came from, so I had no other choice. I felt brave. I felt like a hero, but this was only the start.

Entry 8, War Journal, Entry 1
I stuck my foot in first. I waited to be tugged into my death, but I wasn't. I retreated my foot and waited for the perfect moment to enter. I took a large, deep breath. I closed my eyes. I jumped in. I kneeled and covered my head. Surprisingly, nothing attacked me. In the distance I heard a large quantity of footsteps. I opened my eyes and saw it. A luge Nether Castle with a lava mote. Above it, was glowstone. Next to it on the ceiling was something small and brown. Wait, is it what it think it is? The brown moved. "Spinner!" I cried out. I darted forwards to the Castle and looked up. "Spinner!" I called again. He didn't respond. What was he doing? Suddenly, it struck me. He's trying to sneak in and invade the Castle! He isn't evil, or is he? "Spinner! Get down here!" I called one last time. Suddenly, a show of arrows flew at Spinner and shattered the glowstone. I could hear Monster cries from inside. Spinner didn't move, then plummeted to his possible death. "No!" I couldn't stand it. I rushed forward and barged through the Castle Wall with my pickaxe. I was afraid of the possibilities of the interior, and it turned out too be my worst guess. There was a throne up ahead, with, what was it exactly? I focused my eyes. The evil figure was a ink black and gold spider. "I've been awaiting you." I told me. It all made sense, right then and there. That was the spider in my dream, and on the first shrine. They belonged to him. Smashing it was definitely a bad idea. I stopped wondering and examined the rest of the Castle. A giant squid was wrapping it's arms around the throne. Correction, a huge squid. That massive creature could kill anything it wanted to. I gulped. To the side of the throne was a grey creeper, the one I sad seen in my dream. And in front of the throne was, Spinner! I dashed forwards. Suddenly, a force field blasted forwards from the throne and swept me off my feet. I quickly got back up and cursed the spider. "You dare? You think you own this spider? Hahaha! What a fool!" the spider cackled. The giant squid shifted it's arms. You stay right there. "Leave Spinner alone!" I screamed at the royal demon. He stared at me and didn't laugh this time. "This prince spider will be our new king, against his will or not. At the rise of the new king, my friend here will swallow the sun whole." The giant squid lifted it's arms off the throne. "Why would you do this to the people of Minecraft?" I cried out. "Silly boy. This is not to the people of Minecraft, but to you. A punishment, a curse! You were the one who destroyed my shrine. That shrine was mine. It need it back, thanks to you. Hahaha! I love this." He was the most infuriating creature ever alive. My body tensed and I gripped my sword stonger. I grinded my teeth. The only way to stop this madness would be to kill that squid. "What does swallowing the sun have to do with this?" I questioned him. He smirked and answered, "Without the sun, you humans don't stand a chance. My army and I are able to invade your civilizations and claim the shrine back! Am I right, Praemium?" The grey creeper began to talk, "Yessss, my lord." I stopped. Army? "You and what army?" He glanced over at a huge iron gate behind his throne. I began to hear the sound of footstep. Many, footsteps. The sound grew in quantity and volume. Suddenly, the iron gate burst open. "This army." I was face to face with a couple thousand monsters. Time to put my sword to a use...

Entry 9, War Journal, Entry 2
"Attack!" I slipped on my remaining iron armor from this whole quest. I could feel the energy, strength, and power surging through my body. The stampede of monsters screamed and charged at me. Get ready...fight! I lunged forwards and slashed a skeleton. Rolling over to my side gave me an advantage-I was able to take out a zombie and a creeper at once. I hopped back and away from the explosion. A forceful blast destroyed a couple monsters. Maybe if I can get the skeletons angry the creepers, the creepers will take out this army for me... I swiftly dodged a group of arrows, clumsily slamming myself into the cobblestone wall. That didn't work. I couldn't get up without getting hit, so I swung my legs and toppled over a few monsters. In the distance, I could see the back of the army fighting it's way up. Everyone wants to kill me so bad. What does the Golden Spider promise? Wealth? Eternity? I lunged forward and sliced a spider in two. It was a chocolate brown, just like Spinner. Darn, the poor thing! He's in the center of this mess. Wait, maybe he can help me! I decided my goal was to get Spinner, not kill off the this army. It's not possible by yourself. I hacked away with my sword, left and right like crazy. An arrow flew by my neck, so I spun around and slashed the source. Not letting a monster kill me off-guard, I attempted a risky back flip slice. I flew up in the air and faced downwards. Here I go. I thrust my arm out, slicing a creeper in two. I landed perfectly, no injury. How did I do that? It was if I were not myself, but a stronger, heroic person. I knew I was going to win. I whipped around and slashed every monster I heard. Suddenly, A spider tackled me to the ground. I screeched right in my face. My arms were in between my legs, so I was able to slice the spider from behind. I flung it off my body and turned around to kill it. This is going well, for complete chaos. I decided the only way to get to Spinner was to barge through the army. I'll take the risk. "Take this, demons!" I stabbed my sword forwards, piercing each monster in my wake. Over the mass of monster's head, I could see Spinner. The monsters were ignoring him under command. "Spinner!" The Golden Spider wouldn't be able to see me in this crowd, so I dove over to Spinner. "Wake up! Come on! You have to!" Spinner moaned and looked straight at me. He joyfully hissed and got up. "That's the Spinner I know. Get ready to battle." The army quickly began to close in on us. I slashed away at the monsters while Spinner leaped on each one's head and bit them, stunning them from attacking me. We're a perfect team. The war felt endless. I was sweating and bleeding in pain. Though, I could take it. I couldn't give up. If I did, the huge squid would swallow the sun and kill everyone in Minecraftia. The monsters, chaos, would rule. My hatred grew. My strength increased. I slashed harder and faster, giving the monsters not a single chance to hurt me. "This is for what you have done to me!" I sliced the final group of monsters in two, as the collapsed to the floor. It was suddenly silent. I looked around at the scene. Arrows, swords, bows, bones, string, feathers, gunpowder, and victory covered the floor. I took a deep breath. I think I won. I turned my head to sound of the Golden Spider's slow clapping of his eight arms. He and his minion, Praemium, were smirking. "Praemium and Cthulhu, finish him off." The squid restlessly flailed it's arms. Praemium ran up to me faster than I could run. "Come withhhh me, my boy..." I slashed with all my strength. "SSSSSSSSSSSS," he cried out. I dove down to my knees and covered my head. The explosion blasted me across the floor, and into Cthulhu's tentacles. I stopped and laughed. Praemium's a joke. I stopped laughing after Cthulhu began to squeeze me. I slashed his tentacle for as long as I could hold a breath. The giant tentacle dropped off the host, along with me. I breathed in. Seven to go. The fight with Cthulhu was fast - all I had to do was slice each arm as it came at me. Wow, he was easy. What was I afraid of? Then his tentacles suddenly grew back. Oh no. My instinct was to kill Cthulhu himself, so I threw my sword like a javelin as best as I could. The sword went right into his mouth and stabbed his tongue in two, along with knocking a few of his teeth out. Cthulhu screeched and vanished with a large explosion of black smoke. After the smoke dissipated, my sword clattered to the ground. I slowly and cautiously walked over to my sword and picked it up with my right hand. I held it high in the air, then pointed it straight at the Golden Spider. "You're next." I warned him.

Entry 10, It All Ends Now
"Well done, fool. It's not over yet. Yes, with Cthulhu slain I can't destroy the sun, but I can summon him back! Hahaha! Of course, I'm not going to do it now. No, I won't let you kill him once again. It's a waste of my time. Commence the new king's ritual!" Spinner was by my side, eyes filled with fear. He must of been afraid of Praemium and Cthulhu so he didn't battle with me. Now, he must be afraid of becoming the new king of evil. How can the prince of evil be so peaceful? The Golden Spider clapped twice as if he was waiting for something to happen. I glanced around the room. Then my eyes were directed to Spinner. A powerful force was pulling him away from me. "Spinner, no!" I quickly grasped his legs and tugged with all my remaining strength. "Silly boy. I won't let you prevent the ritual from commencing." What is he going to do? Spinner looked at me. A tear dropped from his eye. Don't worry Spinner. I won't let anything happen to you. Never. I pulled on him harder than before. "Stop, fool!" The castle began to shake. It wasn't quite an earthquake, but worse. I could sense the danger I was in. I directed my eyes over to the Golden Spider. No matter how hard I focused, I couldn't see him. I even squinted my eyes. The blur got worse. I wouldn't know if he had moved because of the shaking affecting my eyesight. I couldn't see Spinner, so I tugged even harder. Suddenly, I was blasted away. Spinner flew out my arms, sending me flying across the castle. It hit the cobblestone wall and dropped to the floor. My head hurt hard. My vision began to turn black. No, this can't be happening! The next thing I knew, I was unconscious. "A mere mortal! Hahaha!" the Golden Spider bellowed at my lifeless body. Spinner squealed after landing in front of the king's throne. "Let it begin, once again!" I couldn't think. I didn't know if I was alive. Though, my vision began to come back. I opened my eyes all the way and stood up. I was standing in front of an obsidian wall. No, not obsidian. The chunks were larger, and there were blue streaks running down the rock as if it was crying. Great. Crying Obsidian. Crying Obsidian was a material only seen, but never been touched. There was no information known on it. I didn't even know if my diamond pick could smash it. I have to try. I sprinted up the wall and hacked away with my pickaxe. Each hit gave off a "cling" and had no effect. I cant give up now. I continued whacking the wall. I began to sweat. I wondered what was going on behind the wall. Spinner is probably the new king, and the Golden Spider is summoning Cthulhu once again to swallow the sun. I began to cry like the rock. My hope was gone. It was all over. I fell to the floor and looked up at the ceiling. I could see the glowstone from before. Wait, the glowstone! I hopped back up and reached into my worn pack. I could feel my wooden bow and quiver. My hope started coming back. I pulled them out of my pack. I slipped my quiver over my shoulder, and held my bow in my left hand. I hope I remember how to use this. I aimed very precisely. I pulled an arrow out of my quiver and held it in my bow. Here I go. I let go of the arrow and the back of the bow with my right hand. The arrow launched directly at the glowstone. The glowstone shattered, and the shards fell straight down on the other side of the wall. I suddenly heard a screech from the Golden Spider. I glanced over at the wall and it instantly vanished. I could see the horror. Spinner was in the throne with a a glowing aura surrounding him. The Golden Spider was beside him. He stood in shock. "How?" he questioned me with a blank and puzzled expression. I loaded my bow with more arrows, and I held my sword in my right hand. I stood as if I was a hero. "Brown King, kill off this fool! Don't let him breathe!" Spinner looked at me in horror. He couldn't kill me. I'm his friend. Spinner didn't move. "Now!" He still didn't listen. "I command you to kill this human, NOW!" Spinner looked over at the Golden King with hatred. Wait, if he's the new king, isn't he more powerful than the old kings? I smiled at Spinner. He turned his head at me and would have done the same if spiders had facial expressions. He had a plan. Spinner turned his head back at the Golden King and hissed with anger. Suddenly, he launched himself out of the air and at him. I darted over to the scene. "Stop!" the Golden King pleaded with hidden regret in his voice. I slashed him with the more power I have ever imagined. Spinner bit down on the Golden King. Hard. The pulsing aura rippled through the air and smashed into him. I aimed with my bow and pierced the Golden King. He decided to fight back and slashed me with his arms. I flew into Spinner, knocking him into the ground. If he wasn't the new King of Evil, he would have been squished. I hesitated to get up. The Golden King approached us. "Hahaha! You have made it this far, but this the end!" All my hatred and frustration from my quest came to me as an ultimate source of energy. I had the strength and power to kill the Golden King. I am a hero. I am capable. I got back up with my sword held hard in my right hand. I gritted my teeth and stared at him with pure hatred. He knew what was coming. With my sword, I lunged forwards and delivered the final blow to Golden King. "NOOOOO! This isn't possible! I can't. I can't possibly die-" His words stopped right then and there. He stopped moving. A white light began to shine. I has breathing faster than ever, and I was severely injured. Though, I didn't care. I had won. Correction, we had won. I looked over at Spinner behind me, and I smiled. He hissed cheerfully. I could feel the victory coursing through my body. I bet he could too. I directed my attention to the white light coming from the Golden King's remains. It was much brighter than before. I covered my eyes as reality drifted off to something else. After it was back to normal, I opened my eyes. A glowing white hallway led to a Nether Portal across the room. I could recognize it. My Nether Portal back home. I began crying. This quest finally paid off. I will be back home in no time. I lifted my head up and looked over a Spinner. "Goodbye, Spinner. We come from two different places. You, are spider. I am a human. I-I can't-" I exploded in tears. Spinner calmly hissed to reassure me. He nodded at the glowing Portal. I focused my eyes on him through the shine from the white light of the hallway. "Y-you want to come with me through the portal?" He nodded yes. I hugged Spinner, spider or not. I then retreated my arms and turned back to the Nether Portal. Dazed in happiness, I walked forwards with Spinner trailing behind me. I then stepped into the portal, finally returning home.

Thank you!  big_smile

I started the sequel but never continued, so I guess now's the time to do so.

Great story, but you should divide into paragraphs so people don't dismiss it as a wall of text.  smile

I'm getting annoyed with all the Mine Craft stories. Now it's like spam to me.

This story was written a while ago, and not spam. Whining ^ is spam.

I bet you don't appreciate Minecraft.

Sorry, I rushed the first one so it didn't have paragraphs, so I kept the whole thing that way.

You said you are sick of Minecraft stories. I've only seen one other.
