I just started seventh. Sixth grade is pretty okay, but I wouldn't listen too closely to what the weird kids are saying at the lunch table if I were you....
It also sort of depends whether sixth grade is elementary school or junior high where you are. For me it was elementary.

11th wasn't that bad. Then again, I did the entire year online and not at a F2F (Face to Face) school, so I really can't say much.

@Swell, just say your buying it for a friend, cousin, or something. Laugh jokingly and tell them you like to pester them about "their" obsessions. Or buy it online. I've gotten away with getting many a thing that I look weird buying with this method.

1. 11-12
2. 13-14 would be 8th grade
3. High School is grades 9-12 (Age 14-18)
4. There are middle schools (junior high)

Awesome! Thanks! Our schools are set out a bit differently: There are primary schools and then secondary/high schools. From years 1 to 6 (year 6 being 10-11)  is the Primary school. And then years 7-11 is the High School. But years 10 and 11 are slightly different in curriculum based on your choices of lessons. I dont think I would've liked the jump from junior high to high schools as much as the jump from Primary to High school :L
