Hi - I have just produced a Joomla plugin that allows you to place your Scratch project(s) within a standard Joomla 1.5.x article/page.

I hope it helps you as the standard Joomla editors and/or framework remove the Applet tag and/or link that Scratch requires. The Joomla plugin gets round this issue.
