Re: STONE AGE - The best thing since sliced bread!

Well, that's a pretty big game!  Here's a couple of things to try:

1. Look at the music and other sound files.  There is a size next to each one.  See if they are eating up a lot of space.  Make sure you have removed any unused sounds.  If you are using the same sound from a lot of different sprites, you can use broadcast messages to play them rather than duplicating the sound several places.  You can try compressing them too, see the Edit menu.  You may have to remove them or you can edit them in a sound editor to make them shorter.

2. Look at the costumes and backgrounds you are using.  Are they taking up a lot of space?  Again, you can try compressing them but that may not be enough.  Make sure you have removed any unused costumes.  You can use an image editor to resize them and possibly lower the color depth to further reduce them in size.

So sounds and costumes are the usual big memory eaters.  Hopefully you can trim down the project by focusing on them.

I did try this... I compressed the images and sounds down and it still didn't work. It just made the game so poor quality it wouldn't actually sense the right colours!

If it didn't, I would've applied it for curation or featuration  tongue
