I heard this from a friend but he said that Hurricane Irene is coming tommorrow...
is it true????

It's not coming here, but we will get lots of rain and it's gonna be near raliegh.

Its supposed to land a high threat level hit to North Carolina soon, then it will careen its way up to the North east, where it will hit everywhere from Maryland to Maine.

It is expected to be a category 3 hurricane when it hits North and South Carolina, and then a category one when hitting the northeast. Do yourself a favor and prepare!

I am expected to get hit as well, but in the Northeast.

If you're on the coast, there is a good chance. No guarantees though. Don't worry about it. Just make sure your family has a disaster plan.

Looks like we have two Rhode Islanders. I think the weather channel tells you a radio station for weather. I think its like Sirius XM or something like that. tongue

It depends on where you live. I live in New York so any stormy weather due to hurricane Irene will likely hit on the weekend for me.
