As I went to work on a project I had put off for pretty much all of last year, I tried to edit some text, but the whole thing turned into Helvetica Bold. (the font, I mean).
Is there any way to get back the old font that used to be in Scratch?
I've looked around and still haven't been to find the right font from before (it was the typewriter one)
Also, when I went to edit other costumes with text, they change to Helvetica Bold as well as long as you didn't touch the text button, which makes sense since there isn't a font to type with.
Minimum: Could someone provide me with the Typewriter font that was in scratches 1.2.1 and lower?
Maximum: Could someone provide the Scratch community with the old fonts?

It's too bad they removed these fonts, it caused so many problems. I remember someone explaining a while ago how you could get the fonts back... I might be able to find it.
Edit: I can't find it anymore, sorry. I want the old fonts back as much as you do, though.

If you *really* need to use the old internal fonts instead of your computer's own fonts in Scratch - and are willing to hack a little - you can "bring them back" by renaming the file called "UnicodePlugin.dll" in your Scratch folder to something else. Then, if you open Scratch you get only the "old" fonts. There will probably some error messages if you try to copy/paste from the clipboard, but essentially Scratch should work with western-fonts (don't try this with non-western fonts, though). Afterwards you can restore the original name for the "UnicodePluglin.dll".

Honestly, I like this choice of fonts better. There's less, and enough for different kinds of games. I managed to get by without any error messages, and if I want, I'll change it back to normal. Thanks!
