Hey, Scratch!

This is Dab1998 and I just posted this topic to say that I'd like to make a minecraft mod but I need help. Since I have no idea whatsoever of how to make a mod, I have decided to turn it into a mod-collab with people from scratch to help me. I have the main idea for the mod written on paper but suggestions are always helpful.

I'll need a texture artist and 1-3 programmers. I will do all of the inventory art myself.
PLEASE NOTE THE TEXTURE ARTIST WILL ONLY BE CREATING THE TEXTURES FOR THE EXTRA 22 BLOCKS!

---Mod Description---
The mod I want to make is called Mineral Craft (The name is open to suggestions as Mineral Craft is a pretty sucky name xD). Mineral Craft, when imported into Minecraft, will add a bunch on new minerals into the game and more! Most will have ores but some will need to be crafted.

Here is a list of what will be included (Tools and Armour are not listed here):
- Quartz Ore - A common ore that drops a Quartz Gem upon destruction by any type of pick.
- Quartz Gem - Used for creating Quartz blocks (Swanky windows!).
- Quartz Block - A transparent block, made out of 4 Quartz gems crafted together.
- Amethyst Spikes - The Amethyst equivalent of an ore. Touching it will cause the player to lose half a heart. Found in Amethyst Caves (Basically small caves not leading to anywhere with Amethyst spikes covering the walls, floor and ceiling)
- Amethyst Shards - Used to craft Amethyst Gems. 4 of these are dropped when the player uses a stone pick or better to destroy an Amethyst Spike.
- Amethyst Gem - The result of 4 Amethyst Shards crafted together. Used to create Amethyst tools and armour or blocks.
- Amethyst Block - The result of 9 Amethyst Gems crafted together.
- Tin Ore - Easy to find ore which is smelted to make Tin Ingots.
- Tin Ingots - An Ingot used to to make Tin Blocks, Molten Tin and Tin Tools and Armour.
- Tin Blocks - 9 Tin Ingots crafted.
- Molten Tin - Smelted Tin Ingot. Crafted with Molten Copper to make Molten Bronze.
- Copper Ore - A reasonably hard to find block. Can be smelted to make Copper Ingot.
- Copper Ingot - Used to make Copper Blocks, Copper tools and armour and Molten Copper (for making bronze)
- Copper Blocks - The result of 9 Copper Ingots crafted together.
- Molten Copper - A smelted Copper Ingot creates this. This is mixed with Molten Tin to make Molten Bronze.
- Molten Bronze - The result of Molten Copper and Iron crafted together. Dry at a cooling point (Another new block) to create Bronze Ingot.
- Bronze Ingot - Used to create Bronze Tools and Armour and Bronze Blocks.
- Bronze Blocks - The result of 9 Bronze Ingots crafted together.
- Silver Ore - A rare ore smelted to make Silver Ingots.
- Silver Ingots - A precious metal used for Silver Blocks and Silver Tools and Armour.
- Silver Blocks - 9 Silver Ingots crafted together.
- Platinum Ore - The rarest metal ore.
- Platinum Ingots - Smelted Platinum ore. Used to make Platinum Blocks and Platinum Tools and Armour
- Platinum Blocks - 9 Platinum Ingots crafted together. If you get this you REALLY rich!
- Emerald Ore - A very rare ore, that drops an Emerald Gem when destructed with a bronze or better pick.
- Emerald Gem - Used for creating Emerald Blocks and Emerald Tools and Armour.
- Emerald Block - 9 Emerald Gems crafted.
- Ruby Ore - Just about the same rarity as Emerald ore. Drops a Ruby Gem on destruction with a silver pick or better.
- Ruby Gem - Same uses as Emerald Gems
- Ruby Block - 9 Ruby Gems crafted together.
- Sapphire Ore - Same rarity as Ruby and Emerald Ore. Drops a Sapphire Gem when destroyed with a Diamond Pick.
- Sapphire Gem - Same uses as Ruby and Emerald Gems.
- Sapphire Block - 9 Sapphire Gems.
- Crying Obsidian - Resurrected in this mod, Crying Obsidian is only formed when Obsidian comes into contact with Sapphire Ore. Can only be harvested with Sapphire Pick
- Cooling point - Cools down molten metals and turns them into ingots. Is crafted with 7 cobblestone and a stick. (Fuel water bucket and ice bucket)
- Redstone Block - 9 Redstone Dust crafted together.
- Coal Block - 9 Coal Crafted together
- Charcoal Block - 9 Charcoal Crafted toghether
- Bucket of Ice - A Bucket of Water put on a cooling point.
- Bucket of Obsidian - A Bucket of Lava put on a cooling point.

- Preferably has experience making minecraft mods or coding in java

I’ll need proof that you’re good at it e.g. If you want to be the artist I’ll need your best picture to see if I like it, or even better; a minecraft texture pack! Want to be involved with this mod-collab? Just reply below. I will choose who I want helping me in a week.
