Have you read the CNET article? Apparently, it's going to have a 2,048x1,536 pixels!
That's 1.5x higher resolution than a Full HD 1080p TV!
3x higher resolution than a normal 15" laptop screen!
Apparently, the pixels will be so small, individual pixels won't be visible! A retina display!

I'm not going to buy an iPad because a newer one will be released right after I buy it.

The pixels are impressive, but the price is just ridiculous.

Starts at around $500 here in Australia... it's not too bad considering the amazing screen...

It's a joke about Apple releasing the iPad 2 not even a year after the first.

Any reason? Apple pushes coolness to a whole new limit.

Personal preferences of not only the way their OS is designed and locked down (but a quick jailbreak fixes that), but how they run their business. I was quite disappointed to buy my 2G remake, then for them a month later to announce the 3rd one. They do that with all their products, and quite frankly, I don't like it when companies do that. You have obsolete tech pretty much right after you buy it.

Go to macrumors.com
They have a scale on whether or not you should buy an apple product (depending on how much chance there is that apple will release a new product)

I don't ever plan on buying another Apple product, but thanks for the site.
I'm going to support the lesser known/not as big companies now. I'm getting a HP TouchPad and maybe a Zune for the music.

Another rushed little device, you are waisting money. There could be SO much more stuff but no they take no time and want it out, and then you have it for 5-6 months then you have to buy the next which is more expensive. I personally am not happy, I will stick with my Ipod Nano because Apple has dropped there main focus, music.
