We felt it hear too (Boston). Apparently, it was really close to Charlottesville, VA, where I used to live. I emailed some friends and they're all ok though, so I guess it wasn't too bad.

I felt it at my place in Virginia. It was so weird. I was at school when the desks and stuff just started moving. It was quite exiting, actually.

Also, I think will probably be an aftershock so it would be best not to place anything of value on or near tall shelves... (Like vases, laptops, etc)

You know what just happened? there was like a 5.9 magnitude earthquake, and even though the center was in Mineral, Virginia, I heard that people in Ohio, Massachusetts, and North Carolina could feel it!

Unless you have family here, that could be the possibly worst choice of your life to vacation here.
It sucks here.

The earthquakes in california are different. some make you feel like your on a boat. others seem like somebody threw a boulder onto your house. others fell like a giant mole hit the foundation of your house. Yeah, we have earthquakes.
