Ever played on Nitrome.com? Nitrome is an example of perfect Scratch games. Scratch is capable of such games, but no one uses it it's full potenital. It's wasted on animations, remixes, and art trades. I believe your game is a step 2 towards games like Nitrome's.
I wish I had the skills to make something like Nitrome. I love thier games.
It takes time. No practice, just time, effort, and requires thinking. For the art, find yourself an artist. Add detail to your post, ask for a professional, explain exactly what you want, and don't generalize. I can sprite just as well as Nitrome, but I'm way to lazy to sprite in my Scratch games. XD
For the actual game - you need to be a game designer. Lemme explain...
ASTHETICS
Just because three images look good doesn't mean they work together right. The style of art, the atmosphere in the game, and the feelings and memories that come to the player. Imagine this.
Mario + Lake Hylia + Kirby powers
These three things are nice, but work horribly together. Mario gives you a kid-friendly, fantasy, vivid, and arcade feeling. The legend of Zelda gives you a raw RPG feeling. Kirby games make you feel like you are living a dream. Though, together, they work horribly.
RPG + Mining + Blocks
Minecraft. Notch took a long time to fully think out the game. Even though it doesn't have a storyline or plot, but it's not a game where everything's a triangle and you fly across the world on green unicorns.
Each of Nitrome's game are played differently. Feed Me is probably their most original. This is the most important part of game. How is it played? Is it addictive? Is it unique? Can it be easily modified? This is why I hate platformers. Super Mario Bros. was the first platformer game. Ever since that hit, people have been making platformers with their own characters (like sonic). That is another reason why I hate sonic. People love sonic games and say it's better than Mario, but Mario was the first platformer. Not sonic. Back to Feed Me. Holding onto walls and inching along them is DEFINITELY a new style of game. Angry Birds. That was a first. Notice every hit game is unique? That's because all hits have great aesthetics and a clever gameplay.
I hope this helps anyone.

Dude, FeedMe is my favorite! You should see how high I rank on Miniclip! I agree with you 110%! Once I practice some more with my scripts I think I'll attempt to make something you think is worthy of a 90.

Did you know Nitrome is almost done with Feed Me's iPod sequel, Super Feed Me? It has a website with a trailer.

Well I mean that you think plat formers are so annoying (I have to agree with you somewhat there). I think scrolling adds an effect to the game, you not so much. So those are two different opinions. And about the plat forming, if it just a simple one then I do not like it.

As in special I mean unique. Pretty much any platformer these days scrolls.

Thanks! I was expecting much worse ratings, but that's not bad. I agree that it needs some improvements... there are a few glitches and it is a little bit too slow.

What's the difference between your remix and the original?Did you even bother to look at the original? It's a sprite pack. I just used the sprites and built the game from the same file.
Okay sorry, I was sure I saw somewhere else...whatever. I must have had deja vu. Once again, sorry.

A game with your own graphics and characters would be much more highly appreciated.

My first two games are my own characters and graphics, but the graphics are pretty bad, especially my first one haha.

It was just a demo. I tried, I really did. Thanks for rating it. The full version will be way better. What would make it better?

Could you rate my game, Planet Defense V2 please. The plot might be confusing in this one, so at least read the instructions to the first one before you play the second!
