It's not the sourness, it's the acid that makes your teeth very sensitive afterwards.
That said, I can eat a lemon and enjoy it while it lasts, but not being able to put anything solid in my mouth for two days afterwards will make me regret I ever did. xP
....Or maybe I just have sensitive teeth.
