Earthquake, Or Pipes?

Right now, in my building, the building just shook for 1 minute. Everyone went downstairs. I ran downstairs, and I saw about 50 people outside. The handy man said it was just them fixing the pipes.
I was so scared.

I heard there was an earthquake in washington D.C., Viginia, and some other place,  forgot. I think it was New York. 5.8 magnitude.

There was just an earthquake at my place in Roanoke, VA, too! ^_^ So exciting. :-D

My place just got hit by an Earthquake.

How bout you?


More Info-

Earthquake is confirmed to be a 6.0.
After accumulating data from Facebook, I can say that the earthquake was felt all along the east coast.
The epicenter was at DC (somebody below said it).


EXTRA-
Hurricane Irene is planned to hit North Carolina soon; Watch out!

We felt a bit of the aftershock....

i know this might sound insane but .. .my mum have a really bad sensation before earthquakes. and i have tested it tons of time .. she said like 3 hours ago an earthquake might come ... omg!! i feel so crazy/scared now!

I got hit in NYC. It was a pretty small earthquake, and considering that NYC is built near a fault line, this isn't the first time an earthquake hit NYC... however, this was one of the few that could be felt.

Upstate NY even felt it...
