Scratch Team collaborates with Android!
The online android builder thing has blocks and stuff like Scratch so I let the ST know just in case it was copyright infringement etc. and they told me that they worked together on it!

You don't make Scratch projects on phones, Scratch Team just let the Android people use their idea of blocks for chunks of code

Its not copyrighted. The block-based system is a idea by the MIT media lab, but it isn't owned by them.

Android AppInventor was made by Google and the block editor is based on Open Blocks
