Hello.
I like looking at signatures. They're quite nice. What I don't like is animated GIF signatures, because they're flashy and distracting and they degrade my user experience on the Scratch Forums. I know I could just turn images off in sigs, but then I couldn't see the lovely ones either. Could you make it so GIF files aren't allowed in signatures?

Hm... On one side, it's true. And also, they make pages load a lot slower. But, on the other hand, they're cool to see And also, I'm not sure if it'd be possible to only block out gifs. You can just disable images, but you wouldn't be able to see jpegs, etc. (They'd all come up as <image>).

I agree. Like that one with the girls all looking oddly and then it shows some guy with no shirt on waving strangly.

But I don't think they can make the fora detect gifs from other images, and so if they were to ban gifs they might have to ban all images...
They can censor ".gif" in signatures, though.

It's possible. But, I'm not sure if you can only censor something in signatures, other than posts. And people should be able to post gifs in posts, no?

You can censor stuff in signatures. You can't have quotes or code. GIFs are fine in posts, I think.

No. Animated sigs are fun to look at and enhance the Forum experience IMHO.

Depends on your ISP and internet speed.
However, I do enjoy looking at a worried-looking pony say "yay".

I enjoy gif signatures... but you can always make it so that signatures don't load
