Trouble with Sensing

Hey guys I need some help with my sensing. I think it is alright but still it does not work. I am using a color sensing costume. I say if color bottom touching color of platform set y vel to 5 if key up arrow pressed set y vel to 13 or 14. But I tested again for glitches, and I went to the left edge, and held the left arrow key and the down arrow key and he SLID through the ground to the bottom!! Can somebody an experienced Scratcher or somebody who knows the problem help me?

Re: Trouble with Sensing

I think its because your overwriting a script. For example if you tell scratch to do 2 seperate things at the same time it doesnt know what to do and gets all glitchy

really? Because you said if youre touching that color set the y to 5 but if youre touching the color and pressing up wont you be overwriting?

Re: Trouble with Sensing

Wow, I skipped the simple block. Add "if on edge, bounce" to the Movement script.
