How do you go into third person modeIt's a cheat. Highlight for answer:
Go to Options > Keyboard > Advanced > Enable Dev Console
Press ~
type "sv_cheats 1"
type "thirdperson"
doneNot really a cheat. A cheat would be using noclip.
And I didn't think you had to change sv_cheats to 1, you only have to do that to spawn stuff and use noclip.
No, thirdperson and firstperson are cheat commands, and need sv_cheats set to 1. If you type those in without sv_cheats set to 1, it won't do anything. Many other commands need sv_cheats set to 1 too.

Most people would probably say that Portal is less violent than other FPS games out there, but people have different thresholds when it comes to violence. Why not look through walkthroughs of the game on YouTube and decide for yourself before buying anything?

Im rather confused. I want to know wether Portal or Portal2 is Violent at all. The rating for P2 is E10+, but my friend said he wasnt allowed to play it because of all the violence, and that was coming from someone who plays FPS all the time. But again, E10+? plus ive looked at some reviews and they all say stuff like "The only FPS game with no shooting!" not to mention it IS a puzzle solving game, so... ya. Please tell me if its violent or not! TYVM!
The first one is probably more violent. Its Rated T and has blood.
So? It's only rated T because of ONE minor swear and blood splatter. While Portal 2 was Rated E10+ because of Overuse of minor swears.
Yeah. GLaDOS says the H word a couple times, if I remember correctly.

Really? In the first one? I never heard that.

Pop a portal over there.
Don't SHOOT a portal over there, POP one. Pop your portal in a brtitish accent.

No, the second one. The quote you quoted was Portal 2.
“What the HELL is going on here?” — GLaDOS

In the first one, if I remember correctly, she says:
"Good work, android. Remember that, android hell is a real place where you WILL be sent at the first sign of defiance."

If you have 20 bucks and already are getting Portal 2 get the first also. Its fun. You can order both for something like 57 dollars US.
But if you consider theoretical lemons that can burn your house down violent and a robot that is broken and just loves space then it is violent oh and cake... Lots of cake.
Seriously. Those noclip commands are nothing in solo. Using it in Coop gets your partner confused. Lol

Oh, I thought you meant that she says "What the *H word*".

Most people would say that the second one is MUCH better than the first. And I agree.
