Welcome, Tara! Great that you think Scratch is lots of fun! The Scratch Wiki is full of info on Scratch, if you ever want to learn more, or just browse. XD

Welcome, Liupeng! The SB file extension is the type of file that Scratch projects are saved in.

I really don't know. That's a possible answer; I never thought about it! Panther does PT and BYOB YPS or YPR (one of them is sprite, one is project). Scratch sprites are SPRITE.

Hello there! I'm not new to Scratch at all, in fact I've been here since 2008, but I only just started to get more into making the best games I can and learning from the experience.
Instead of using my old account with old bad projects on it, I decided to start fresh with a new account
I release a games update about once every three days, (except when I go on vacation), and I try to release at least two games a month. The reason for the long wait in-between games is that I work hard to make sure that they are the best games I can possibly make. Whether it's animation, scripting, graphics, or sound and music, I put as much as I can into my projects before releasing them into the online world.
Anyway, I found out about the forum and now here I am!

Hi I'm Paperbrain, and as you've probably guessed from my first upload (A translation of a 25 year old BASIC program into Scratch), I'm a programmer from waaaaay back. Not to worry, I won't translate any of my COBOL or CICS programs LOL). Since few of the languages I learned in high school and college are used anymore, I might as well fool around with a new one.

<stamp>Hallo to all fellow scratchrs
I am an IT taecher that needed something exciting to show to grade 9 learners 2 years ago. I've been using this program with the kids in the junior classes to encourage them to take IT as a subject in grade 10 to 12. I do not know how I should feel about the department introducing this for the rade 10's.

Greetings new members!
Welcome to the Scratch forums...feel free to introduce yourself here
Hi, I'm an artist and want to play with scratch. I love to draw and want to make my own sprites someday.
I have a question if anyone can help? I downloaded the old version of scratch on my son's computer and now the projects he made won't load or play or even be seen on it. Augh! Thanks in advance if you can help. I guess I need to download the recent version which is where he made all the projects.
