Okay, before I get a rant of New Scratchers saying my idea is insane, I'd like to say something-This is a way to troll.
You can say bad words with it by just seperating a swear with them. Let's say lego was a bad word. You could just put le{b}{/b}go (I put the {} instead of the [] on purpose, so I could show an example). Somebody could swear a lot with it.

actually... it censors it if you seperate it with tags. So there's not really a need

No, it doesn't. I'd prove it, but I don't want to get banned.
I fully support!

I don't support. Some scratcher might make a new account and overuse the bold, italics and underlining.
Overuse? I'm saying we should disable them for New Scratchers... That way they wouldn't be able to overuse them. Currently, they would be able to, but if this idea gets accepted, they wouldn't. Got it?

No, I don't think so. I'm pretty sure that wouldn't count as [url and ] together. Meh, I might as well try:
[url=google.com]Google[/url]

Huh?
I mean then can go
le[url]go[/url] or stuff like that.

No, you can't. It says Sorry, New Scratchers cannot post urls to websites other than Scratch in their posts.

No... With the [b}{/b] tags off, it wouldn't work, considering having [url} brackets in between anything (Such as your example, without the {b}{/b}) will say you can't. Or at least I think so, I'll test it out:
Yep, it doesn't work. I previewed it, and it said Scratchers can't post with the url thing to anything other than Scratch. So, with the bold things off, it'd be safe, no?
But wait, I wonder if this would work. I can't post it, of course, as I'd get banned, but what if you posted something like {url=scratch.mit.edu}lego{/url}? It'd work, because it only would catch Lego if it was alone, right?

yep

Bump (I think this is my first bump ever
Maybe I did one in a Show&Tell project, though)

I guess. I think there shouldn't be url tags for New Scratchers anyways-People can just link it normally, no?

BBCode is canceled if you put BBCode in between letters in the start tags or it is in a code block so
[ur[b][/b]l=scratch.mit.edu] the scratch website[/url]
would make
[url=scratch.mit.edu] the scratch website[/url] and not the scratch website
and also :[i][/i]) would make :) and not

If you see it, just report it. You know how to report? Read my ITopic in NSM.

How wouldn't I know, it's very clear how to do it. I've been on other pun-bb forums
And to joefarebrother, I know you can do that. Read the rest of my post xD

Hint 1: I was banned for exploiting this glitch.
Hint 2: I can do it right now, but I don't want another ban.

And do remember that for testing stuff like this there's always the preview feature!

Some new Scratchers don't, and I didn't know. You can read it anyways.

Actually... I just tested. It doesn't.
I'll show you with a harmless word that they filtered (for links):

url and img are disabled for new scratchers because they might post somthing inapropriate. There is no harm done with bold, italic and underlines. This is like saying all bbcode should be disabled for new scratchers. If someone swears, report it. They will get banned.
