I am a big fan of remixing and I want to keep encouraging it and I am thinking about changing the way we count remixing.
Instead of counting the number of projects that are based on certain project, I think we should count number of people who have remixed a project.
Imagine a project is remixed 10 times by person A, 4 times by person B and 3 times by person C, currently it counts it as "17 remixes". With my proposed change it will only count it as "3 remixers".
This is relevant to address the issue of people playing with the system to get to the Top Remixes section by remixing their own projects (self-remixes). I still want to link to self-remixes but I want to give it a more appropriate weight (=1).
What do you think?

That is a good idea; because then as you said, they won't remix it themselves so then it won't use up extra space

^^Agreed with this guy/girl.
Maybe show remixers and remixes, but only remixers count for Top Remixed.
Jamie you know I`m a guy you KNOW that

Then when you click on 3 remixers, it will have a list like the taggers list, so below the names will be the projects! Great idea!

Yeah this is a great idea! I never thought of this!

I agree I like the amount of people better than number of projects. I think this would also solve the solution of people cheating with the remix.

We all agree so I think you should make it and as Big-Bang Said

Definitely! You should implement this... because you can and we can't.
